I can see how it seems like that, from what I write about it. I'm actually pretty lax. My kid get full access on the internet, but I teach them all about the bad parts, and how to stay safe. Same with everything else, I'm pretty laid back.
It actually kind of sounds like your trying to gas light me a little bit (knowing you got backup, lol), because I seem threatening or something.. It's never good to assume though. It's cool, you can chill man. No need to call anyone a freak or anything. Doesn't bother me but some might flip out. Its just cognitive dissonance that makes you want to defend yourself. I'm guilty of it too, so i know. I get high on it now, and love when I get called out for things I say. It forces me to research and learn, and I'll be the first to admit I was wrong. I'm not disagreeing with anyone here about anything really. You can't argue or even debate with someone that believes in you believing in whatever you want to believe in. Do what you want though, I don't judge. I make friends with my enemies all the time.
It's kind of fascinating to me though, how on the internet there are groups of people that band together, and automatically start calling people mentally ill, or freaks, and whatnot. As if it is the new key word, and a way to basically "shoot" someone without a bullet, once all the guns are gone. Like it's being programmed into people, through the media. As if it is a weapon, and they know that if someone gets sucked into the social system, they will become weak. Down on their level, lol. I'm not even gonna say who they are or anything, because is doesn't really matter. They want the guns gone though, because they live in fear. Just like 1984, which sounds about right.
I can "sense that vibe" coming on, like I'm becoming the target all the sudden. Just like I can sense if there is going to be a violent situation involving guns, or other non-sense coming my way.
Many people don't see it coming, totally oblivious to how life actually works. They get wrapped up into situations so easily, and are the kind that snap and pull triggers. I see why they do. I also see your guys point about not having the gun in their hand at the time, because their would be less guns around. I do.
I bet any parent that lost their kids to drugs or violence would have rather been called a control freak, for putting in the effort to properly raise a child, than to pay no attention about what their kid was up to, while they dealt with other peoples problems at work all day. Or whatever the hell they were doing..
