What was the reason they gave you BTC back and not got cuts ? Wanting to order some premiums and checking up on them. Any info on someone who has grown them out would be appreciated.

Hi there , any update on status? I’m wanting to pull the trigger also with some premiums for my facility but it’s considerable money do want to make sure it’s legit. Any info appreciated, thanks.

hi, so as of today (01/18/22) I have received ONE clone so far….I was told last Wednesday I should get the other regular clone (trop Cherry) this week. Hortmans stated around 01/03 that they just were going to clip & clone the premiums. I wrote to them today inquiring about a status as it’s already 2 weeks (if they indeed did clone them roots take about 10-14 days). I wrote to them over the weekend & still no response. So their customer service does lack a bit. I’ll keep you posted. Per another user that used Hortmans he stated I would get them BUT it might take a while as it did with him….if that’s the case most likely they are an intermediary between the clone bank & you (customer). But I would wait till I get mine to see if they are the real deal…I spent almost $3k and thus far received only an apple fritter (which isn’t too hard to source. Unfortunately a local clone bank has AFritter now (AND an OREOZ I ordered). lol but I guess that’s how life always works…. But I’ll keep you posted man. I “SHOULD” get them in 2 weeks or less (if not they are obviously shady & a fraud. In 2 weeks there’s no excuse they can come up with….

I was about to write today that they shipped them since they gave me a tracking BUT the tracking # I believe is no good. Either 1) wrong client or 2) wrong address 3) bogus. It’s being delivered to MI & I’m in another state. I wrote to them to see what they say but no response yet…so still basically stand at nothing w them. I’m hoping they don’t come back with a “oh, we sent them to the wrong address & we need to reclone them” which wouldn’t make sense since i received one already

They stated what “happened” was it got sent back to the return address. He stated he cld send them out immediately again (but it could get stuck on the weekend) or send it out Monday. Of course I chose Monday due to not wanting to risk them being stuck on a Sunday all day. To compensate for this whole fiasco he/she did offer a free premium clone. So as of today it’s been 3 weeks since the order date of Jan 1 and I’ve received ONE clone. It appears this week Tuesday or wed I should have the rest (minus one that they still “are waiting to root”). I’ll keep you posted if/when they come thru….

so finally did receive em. I think I was better off telling them to send them when originally were going to be sent because it looks like they didn’t feed them and were extremely stressed upon receiving them. I think that within a day or two they “should“ snap back BUT I kinda feel that paying such a premium they should send something near perfect. They are clean but just really down…here’s some pics attached. I’ll let you know in a day or so how they do & what hortmans replies. I sent them these pics just in case something goes bad they hopefully reimburse. **OH STILL MISSING ONE GENETIC OF TROP CHERRY which is crazy*

They dont look too bad. Keep the RH up and they should acclimate and bite in within a few days.
I dont know if you saw the cuttings I received in the other thread, but if not, have a peek. It might make ya feel a little better.

I had some clones a few weeks ago come in like that. They popped up within a day. It was extremely cold here though. Were they packaged well?

they were packaged pretty well, in a clone shipper. As of today they are back up so no complaints there. Just waiting on one genetic from these guys & we will be squared. Took a while, and a lot of back & forth, but they came thru. They did okay, all premiums were solid (wilted when they arrived but snapped back in a day). The regular clone I got (apple fritter ) could’ve been better and has taken a while to get better…that’s probably main complain. Overall B- for everything. They can improve (like all of us) but are definitely DESCENT!

So did you get apple fritter? I don’t see it in any pictures shown. I have seeds myself I got about a year or so ago from clearwater genetics. I’m growing it every other run. I’m debating on getting a few clones from them and this thread isn’t really persuading me one way or the other.

and where youre at. Some places dont ship but have a variety and fair prices. For example If I lived in Michigan id never need clones shipped its all available locally there

There are some good clones in MI but some really shitty ones lol. Getseedsherenow has good sales, geneticalrabbit are easy to deal with or Boston Clones has some cheaper stuff at like 40-50$. Pitty Clones on IG who does deals for vets.

I did end up getting the apple fritter. I’m running it now so still can’t vouch for it.
i got an apple fritter from a local clone bank and that one and almost everything else I bought happen to be a hermy. So I’m actually a bit freaked out right now. Obviously that’s the huge risk from buying from an unknown…
