What state is this? So they let you grow your own, but no dispensaries? That sounds great to me! I hate all these crappy dispensaries hustling shitty shit! My favorite part of this whole new legal weed era, is teaching fellow patients. It's VA. They legalized home grow but don't have many retail sales setup yet. The bad thing is they specifically outlawed the collection of trichomes and the processing of any kind of trichomes. Even just collecting them and storing them as I read the law is technically illegal, a felony. I think it was a knee jerk response by a bunch of Republican law makers that have no clue to the issue of fires, from home growers trying to shoot butane in the kitchen to make shatter and blowing shit up. Instead of approaching it with common sense, they just banned all concentrates, and making them unless you're a medical card holder and it's from one of the approved medical dispensaries. It's cool, I can legally grow which is a huge step in the right direction and we just need to keep fighting for better laws.

I usually get an average of that, sometimes even more with BHO and flower rosin. Washing with ethanal and ISO at most I usually get 20%. With the QUISO and QWET methods I got the lowest yields only like 10%. So now I grind my material and wash at -60F to get the 20%. My material has always been nugs or sugar shake though, no trim.

Oh yes, makes a huge difference! I think you'll be doing good if you get 10% with trim.

QWET and QUISO suggests you quickly wash small buds. I prefer a longer soak with ground material for a larger yield. Everything needs to be -60F though to prevent getting chlorophyll and other unwanted parts.
