Thank you sir.
Thank you sir.
108 lm/w is a bit low. I'd shoot for ones at 150 at least. Those strips are 21w max, you'd need a bunch. Just in case you don't know, take the voltage and times it by the current. 24v X .900mA = 21.6watts max per strip. The higher you push them, the lower the efficiency-lm/w. Definitely can use them but like I said , you'd need a lot . Like 25-30 of them. If I had anymore 09's I'd send them. Good luck man. If I get a notification on a sale I'll post it hereSo looking around some more, I have found these strips. What about this, will this work ?
SI-B9U171560WW, The specs seem right, what might I be missing? I am trying to light a 4x4 tent.
Thank you in advance
Yeah I think someone got in quick and scooped the lot, they were all gone not long after I posted. Not surprised though, they were discounted by about 75%.The q series was not on sale when I looked today
I'm having trouble figuring out a mounting solution for those, I grabbed idk how many of the 24v version.Nice find on the promo codes. That one expired, but I used 12OFF, and got... 12%... off.
Grabbed a few of these VLM60W/48V for $3.83 for 60W, no dimmer, two prong input. 93% efficient.
These Autecs constant current 590mA too... $8 for 60W, dimmer, three prong input. 92% efficient.
Should be able to fit 2 x 4fts or 4 x 2fts on one of these.
Have you tried double sided tape? Could be a good solution. That's how I mount my strips as well. But once a strip is glued down it stays forever lol.I'm having trouble figuring out a mounting solution for those, I grabbed idk how many of the 24v version.
I mean for the vlmxxw-xxv-s. The wiring and mounting posts are on the same side of the driver, with not much space between wires and postsHave you tried double sided tape? Could be a good solution. That's how I mount my strips as well. But once a strip is glued down it stays forever lol.
Ya I am saying just stick the driver down to the fixture 3M tape. Are you saying the wires are in the way of the screw holes on the ends?I mean for the vlmxxw-xxv-s. The wiring and mounting posts are on the same side of the driver, with not much space between wires and posts
What is that?oh yeah these. I usually drill a few holes to mount it nicely. But yeah, not ideal.

Thank you for posting this. I just finished using a few of the strips I ordered to build a 300w (at the wall) light for a 2x4. Can’t wait to try it out.Samsung F-Series Gen 3 1120mm 3000K Single Row -144 Diodes $3.32, at Arrow. About 200 left. 85% cheaper than Digikey.
FYI These are basically 1/2 an O.G. Quantum Board per strip, same LM561C diodes. If I calculated correctly, 12 of these @1A/600W will give about 100K lm, /1500PPF, perfect for a 4x4 at around 2.5 umol/j before driver losses.
how many would i need to do a 4x4 build?Samsung 2ft Q-Series LM301B 3500K $2.49, only 125 left!
Nice one, recently finished a similar looking build with these as well, 30 strips and 800W of drivers for a 5x5. Used a lux meter and the MIGRO calibrated conversion chart and was getting roughly 700-800 PPFD in the corners of the tent at about 1.5 ft, heatsinks barely warm, strips being run about 1/3rd of max with remote drivers, which is great during summer, and come winter time I can put the drivers back in the tent and remove half the strips so they run hotter and warm the tent a bit, or add another driver and increase the size of the grow area.Thank you for posting this.
