All you did was cut a leaf off. So what?Made the pictures now. Hope this clears up. I put a thin red circle where i cut the top fan leaf off. Saving the main stem. And promotes extension growth.

Okay i'll explain once again. NORMALLY you top a plant to get more extensions more cola's right? But you lose the main stem/cola of the plant. INSTEAD of topping the plant"cutting the MAIN stem" i just cut ONE TOP FAN LEAF OFF from the MAIN stem. I get the same RESULT as topping but i don't lose the main stem. I get two extensions on the main steam PLUS the other extra growth extensions to get more colas. All you did was cut a leaf off. So what?
I don't need you to explain anything to me.Okay i'll explain once again. NORMALLY you top a plant to get more extensions more cola's right? But you lose the main stem/cola of the plant. I showed three pictures. There is no flawed logic. I back up with what i say. And if someone has questions i reply in kind. You don't like it. Don't reply. Have a good one.I don't need you to explain anything to me.
Your logic is flawed.
Have a nice day
Where are the extra colas after you cut? None of what you are saying makes any sense.I showed three pictures. There is no flawed logic. I back up with what i say. And if someone has questions i reply in kind. You don't like it. Don't reply. Have a good one.
Because that's how science works. Otherwise this is just bro-science speculation on your part. Why do i need to have a control plant to compare?
Correlation does not imply causation.I showed three pictures. There is no flawed logic. I back up with what i say. And if someone has questions i reply in kind. You don't like it. Don't reply. Have a good one.
If you top the plant you lose the main stem. Otherwise it becomes a tall plant with only one main cola. Cutting one top fan leaf off has the same effect as topping. The plant doesn't stretch and only has one cola. The only difference is i get to keep the main stem also for cola's. That's the difference.Where are the extra colas after you cut? None of what you are saying makes any sense.
Bro, all you did was clip off a leaf, and noticed that your plant is also branching. Your plant would branch without clipping that leaf. It happens.I just wanted to share my findings. That is all. People like you don't believe me fine. You want physical proof. Do it your selfs. Bye
That is exactly my point. It's a bit different then Fimming. The plant readjust itself to two stems by keeping the main stem also. It also promotes the plant to extent it's branches. Like Topping and Fimming. But instead of cutting the main stem you cut the top fan leaf. About dividing, my plant has divided. In the earlier stage of my plant. See picture.I see exposed shoot growing well cuz of missing leaf, but no dividing. My first top is always a FIM anyways
Funny, how much you know about my plant. You people just keep attacking and circle jerking my ass for something i noticed that could help other people. Like i said i cut the top fan leaf to PROMOTE branch extension grow. I DIDN'T HAVE any extension grow on my plant before the cut. I know what Topping and Fimming is. I am just showing OP of another option then just defoliating the whole freaking plant. That is all nothing more. Want to have factual proof? All you have to do is try it on your own plant. Don't attack and discredit me for your own shortcomings. Have a wonder full day.Not trying to b a dick but no. That just the shoot that was underneath growing, their is no division above your cut, you just exposed that one shoot to more light and pulled the top to the side. The lower shoots dont seem to be encouraged to grow
This is a FIM and then topped plant
The only way you can have any sort of proof is to do a side by side controlled test with identical clones, one of them being a control plant. Otherwise you are simply correlating with you see to be a result of your actions, however that is very flawed logic. Again, correlation does not imply causation. Your "findings" are the epitome of bro-science.Funny, how much you know about my plant. You people just keep attacking and circle jerking my ass for something i noticed that could help other people. Here is what i will do. i got 5 plants all two weeks old. When these are a month old i will cut these the same way "top fan leaf cut off". Also have another plant i just did today. I will make a new thread about it. Also update with pictures. If you have 5 plants, the thing to do is keep two as control plants, and then "top fan leaf cut off" two plants, and also regularly top one plant. Assuming that these are identical clones, then your results will begin to have merit. If they are not idential clones, then your test would be flawed. Here is what i will do. i got 5 plants all two weeks old. Nah i'am not gonna do this test just to follow your expectations m8. I have 5 plants. I don't have any clones. These seeds i cultivated myself. No plant is exactly 100% identical. It should be the same result for any cannabis plant like Topping and Fimming. What you want is that i dig my own grave with this. Becoming a laughting stock. That's what you want. So you either tune in or not. Opinion is welcome, yet you're expectation can take a hike for all i care.If you have 5 plants, the thing to do is keep two as control plants, and then "top fan leaf cut off" two plants, and also regularly top one plant. Yes you most certainly do. And what a great way to improve yield potential since your taller Xmas tree style plant will soon become a flatter bush.... If you top the plant you lose the main stem ...
