I actually got that confused. It was that weasel from copy cat genetics that made a video bragging about narcing other gardeners/breeders out over beef. I forget that dudes name.
Most of these kids dislike Riot because he has exposed all the people that have sold seeds for years based on lies and fake cuts. Everything in their seed collection and grown are, in reality, garbage.
You're not ever going to negate my experience man. No amount of talking. I've said it before, he's the type to tape his children's Christmas presents to the ceiling just to tease them. He wont trade/sell his good genetics, he only makes crosses of them that are weak and useless in preserving the old-school stuff. He certainly brags. You have to sign up and be a VIP member of his site to even purchase his seeds. And worst of all, he will fish around for what you know and suck as much money as he can from you if you don't know what's going on. None of these thoughts I share are based off things I've read, or people i know bashing him. I don't know anyone in online (or offline) weed communities, from dead shows or cannabis cup gathering or whatever. I talked with the guy on the phone many years ago and saw what he was doing. Only recently have I heard his podcasts and his squeaky little voice and fast paced controlling the conversation to his own end.
Most breeders don't share their good cuts with the general public though, most make money by crossing those elite cuts to make strains that they sell seeds of....so what are you sour about??

Not sharing/preserving and selling rare stuff immediately puts him on my list of people not buy from. I agree some breeders do this but I could name many, many more that don't. Those are the people I deal with, for many reasons. I want rare, pure, genetics. Breeding them away into hybrids may be what's cool at the lunch table but If you think about it, what's weed going to be in 20, 50 years? Without making the pure stuff available it will disappear. A lot of it has if you know anything. I deal with growers that sell landraces, heirlooms, and pure elite cuts in seed form. Maybe just me..

That's why they sell crosses, you can find a pheno that represents the strain you're looking for....a lot of breeders wouldn't exist if they shared their cut with everybody....if it was THAT available, who would really want it??
From a complete customer standpoint, doing professional business, the people you're standing up for are likely people I wouldn't buy from. The guys above in my list that offer their stuff, plants that came to them, over many, many thousands of years, no matter who made the initial crosses, are those who are going to get my business. Having something that someone wants and others cant have is part of life. But if I want something, I'm still going to try and get it. And if its available, and affordable, from a decent source.. well god damn!
I think this forum is fair. I certainly don't agree with everyone, but there's very little moderation, allowing people to be themselves.
