it seems to be a new craze here atm. Any slight issue and a rant about seedbanks follows. My fav is the "tried 20 seeds and not one germinated" immediately followed by dozens, if not hundreds of growers here with no issues.
Yea, i'm sure it was the seeds lol. I'm pretty sure id need to run multiple plants over several runs and compare traits and growing parameters before going on a bender of breeder hate.
Not having a go at you Kass or saying that's the level you're at here, just noticed this was a pretty prevalent issue. You can never guarantee there wont be a bad pheno. Especially when the sample size is low.
I am nowhere near consistent enough or experienced enough to end up blaming the breeder lol, nor have i ran sample sizes large enough to come to a decent conclusion.
sure, but to be fair I wasn't obsessing over curled up leaf margins. that was brought up by
@twentyeight.threefive in his diagnosis of Potassium-deficiency. I refused his diagnosis of it because it rather looks as heat stress to me. If anything the plant stands too fat and too high EC can negatively affect transpiration, exacerbating the stress. It may be a lockout due to too high EC. In an hour the lights will go on again I'll see if the yesterday applied +K treatment brought an initial change.
But what I'm harping about is that this genetic can't decide whether to grow leaves or buds. It seems to want to do both. The genetic from London buckles up already.
That said the temps are due to IR heating up an almost closed metal case.
Leaf surface temps read 28-31°C. And I'm ok with rather too low rH as opposed to too high rH that could potentially give rise to graymold
