That males are taller to pollenate better is bro science imo.
It’s no absolute, for sure - for example last year neither male Tirah was ever taller than several of the girls. And out of my Waziri repros, the lone male is in 3rd place out of 5 height-wise, and close to a foot shorter than the biggest girl.

I will say in my admittedly small sample size that the males have tended to show more space between nodes. But at the end of the day, until I see a plant’s junk show up I’m not sophisticated enough to make the call.

C’mon man MA is not Norcal or Oregon

i went heavy with vermiculite this year but still have to water twice/day in this heat.
It's crazy right? I wish I was back in Norcal. Weather out there was awesome. I was stationed at a remote fire fighting camp in Jackson State Forest. It was either rainy season, or it was fire season. Found so many grows during fires
:fire: :fire::fire:
One flower would find another too close to his shit, go in with gas and a chainsaw - burn the poor fool out. It always started with, "Gee, I wonder where this black plastic water line goes...."
Or we'd find random fire roads and there'd be like 30 trash bags stuffed with bud just sitting there in a line. We always left it there, sometimes we'd take a 'small sample' for ah, research.
I dunno Kerowacked, I have come to believe that once you're bitten by the outdoor grow bug, your in it for life. It's like Home and Death, all in one, You may leave, but you always come back, and no one gets out alive.

Sorry bro, but I couldn’t have you dumping your jizz all over the girls -

But your legacy will live on via selective pollination -

Those are full fledged balls to the wall ready to make babies! Mine are just starting to show their stuff… what’s up with that? And btw... That’s the oddest looking “mirror” you have those gents bent over for their juice! Lol :D

I'm just burnt. Males seem to be the thing this Year. Funny, first year I spend silly money on seed and end up fucked. Alpha patch will be lucky to have 5 plants. ECSD /KUSHMINT late starts may be the highlight of my year. I watered, transplanted, fed, took TWO flipping showers. Whole bodies Sore, I'm going to bed. TG for Beta grow, Blue Dreams looking better than ever... Maybe Iess is more this year as far as attention. I dunno, but I'm hauling my stoned ass to bed. Oh, and heat/humidity?
Suck my ballsac.

Plants are handling the heat but they're too big... well at least a few of them.

beautiful plants. Is it a Royal Kush bx10? I have one right now outdoors. It is not looking like the most suitable plant for my guerilla garden because I am finding that it lacks a bit of vigor and has a poor tolerance to drought... I also had problems during the season that could have also heavily affected these aspects... and having only one plant of this strain doesn't help me get a real idea of genetics. what do you think about it? how are you finding it?
however it is starting to smell delicious! however it should shine in intersections, I'm planning some crosses...

Girls bushed out pretty well and are now starting to stretch on top. Looking forward to Monday when the drip system parts arrive.

I noticed a little scuffle around the perimeter fence this morning while on my deck with my AM coffee.
Got a lucky 40 yard earshot with the little .22 PCP on this guy. Usually it doesn't go this well with the .22 and they scamper away.

I have a high school buddy that works for Patriot out of Falmouth harbor. All ready booked a chill bottom fishing trip, hopefully I will get enough rock bass for a nice fish chowda. If I get lucky stripers will sometimes hit the seaworms and whole crabs. I would really love to land a nice fluke, but I think they are long gone from the area....it's been 7-8 years since I landed one.

I'm a huge fan of Royal Kush as an outdoor plant in Oklahoma! One of my 2 last summer had only 1 bud worm, despite being next to a large plant that had dozens! My other RK had 4 or 5 budworms. They also fared well against mold and budrot. And was my favorite smoke last year. Royal Kush and/or crosses made with it are staples in my garden every year now!

This is BX8 x BX6 Royal Kush - my favorite plant this year. Just steady growth and structure from the start. I started 4 seeds, 3 males, wish I keep one of the males. The best one had the same structure and lots of flowers for a small plant. I flipped at 4 weeks old to find females. Next year if I get a male like that one I'm keeping it for pollen.

LOL that’s actually a glass table top. There’s still one male left that just showed he was a he a couple days ago so that one is kind of a straggler.

Good shot. I like the .22 head shots, although if you broadside them, most likely will pop both lungs, and he'll either scurry underground to pass, or become a tasty treat for a Coyote or some other critter. Either way, nice shooting.

I just haven't the skillset yet to do that. I tried but my jizzyballs were way to early. So, I moved my Cheesequake to the other side of my property nested in a little hole, waiting for some balls to actually pop before I top and do the mirror thing. Short of a mirror, I'll prob use my 9.5x13 clear baking dish. Still have two monstahs I'm afraid will Sac up, couple plants definitely budding, it's August, think you'd see what's what by now. I'm starting to think all this 'I'm a boy that identifies as a girl, that identifies as a bi-curious' is affecting the plants. They feel offended, so they're just gonna hide their pee-pees until either I blow a gasket and just go straight Texas chainsaw on em, or they can no longer hide their amour.
Not the only one having problems with males this year, a girlfriend grower is having issues too. She said, and I quote, 'I usually only get 2 males out if every 10 plants, this year, I've lost so many im almost LEGAL!' :weed:bongsmilie
