I couldn't think of a better word, but yeah, that is what I see happening I guess, the shift towards the primary.

Good and bad with that. The bad would be similar to what we have now in that it's often who goes furthest towards whatever end of the political spectrum of the group that gets through the primaries. At least there is a chance they lose in a general election. Also potential for abuse if a party's leadership has favored candidates that they push internally. With it being one party, you don't have that natural check to their power. The good side is obvious, man it would be rad to pick from a bunch of good ideas. It would also help quite a bit with localizing democrats policy/issues, midwest farmers and people in Manhattan have different needs and views, it is hard to message nationally if you are actually saying anything of substance.

I don't like that idea of some sort of mono party, but eh, that can be addressed at a later date and time. We need to get back to where opposing sides aren't in different realities.

It's better they self destruct than the country, lot's of actual conservatives have joined the democrats and re pulling it to the right of center. The classic economic fight between right and left will be fought out inside the democratic party, the republicans are not an option for a patriot and have no constructive polices.

I was referring to a report that the FBI took CCTV tapes that I think the DOJ had subpoenaed from certain dates.

I found a UK story but not sure if it was prior to the raid.

yeah, i though that too. not from the day of the raid but of ( i guess?) somebody that they wanted to see enter mar a lardo.
