When i have trees i use this mamba jamba
Dealing with smaller bushes or low plant count this is fine...just ten minutes squirtin, low mixed waste/leftover.
Ive never seen a seedling get PM. I dont like spraying anything until they're a certain size. Maybe around this size i would start looking for patches of white and maybe consider starting the spray schedule on em.
Im weird as i actually want to see white patches and havent been spraying this year. Well i spray Capt Jacks but not for PM. Nothing gets an outdoor grower excited as seeing a plant loaded with PM and the one next to it barely a blemish.

Thanks @mudballs for sharing this! This will be my first go around at making a spray and I have a few questions.
1. @Kix mentioned mixing the citric acid and sodium citrate powders at a ratio of 1ml = 1g. What exactly does that mean? (dumb question) How are the powders being measured/mixed into the final solution? Are they being diluted first in water and then added to the solution?
2. Soap: what kind of soap did you end up using that seemed to give the best results?
3. Just plan ol' peppermint essential oil?

the math and formula i used to reverse the spray 'by-volume' outputs the quantities in ml but that's not dry weight for the powder. We are measuring liquids, so i had to compromise and make an equivalency....i picked 1g of dry powder=1ml. you could make it weaker or stronger, just so happens 1g=1ml actually kinda works just fine.

nope, just dump everything in and mix. it will look like this
and you shake it everytime before use.
2. Soap: what kind of soap did you end up using that seemed to give the best results?
Dr.Bonners if you can get it , any baby shampoo will work, try to avoid dog shampoo or pet soaps.
3. Just plan ol' peppermint essential oil?
yep nothing special there. you can try other essential oils but i dont know their efficacy in the garden...i dont even know if the peppermint does anything beyond making humans happy.

Bringing this thread back to life for a moment, if yall don't mind.
It's almost time for me to reup on another gallon of LCPT @150/per, and I was thinking of trying this.
Here's my question. LCPT "claims" that they use some proprietary "nano-emulsion" process, and that's what acts to help kill the unwanted critters. Considering the look of the mixture, it's well emulsified, so I tend to believe that, but I am wondering just how important it is that the nano-emulsion happens?
In this case, shaking the jar before each use will certainly homogenize the ingredients for a short time, but is that long enough?
Has everyone that's tried this recipe seen the same results as when using LCPT, which at least for me, seems to work great?

Yes shaking before dilution emulsifies this mix just fine and then while spraying a shake every few minutes keeps it mixed well. I have never used the original Plant Therapy but I have been using this mix for a year on not only cannabis but also my citrus trees and its the shit.

Anyone have tips on the surfactant aspect? My mix doesn’t seem to be coating leaves at all and I even tried doubling the soap concentration. I had a bottle of actual LCPT to compare and it seems to coat the leaves and stick much better. I am using the Dr Bronners baby unscented.

I have a question...will this spray kill hypoapsis mites? I released some the other day into my pots and I wanted to give my girls a foliar spray of the plant therapy but worried it will kill the mites as well.
