I dont understand, why? Wont changing the light cycle stress them out? And is it alright to just...shut off the lights?
lack of light will not perk it up.

you can raise the level of co2 to perk up however

overwatering causes oxygen to get blocked from the roots this is why they look sad,

the twisted crispy growth is from food and will never recover, new growth from here should look ok. those are 2 different plants and they use food at different levels.

dont feed em so young in the future as you need vigous root growth, right now your rootball is suffering

From food...like nute burn? Does nutes really hurt root growth that dramatically? I figured it would just help them grow faster and thicker. What kind of nute regiment should they be on? I posted a picture of what im using right now if they gives you any indication of what is available. thanks for the help man

if its over watering ,,you could try adding some hydrogen peroxide (( about 5 drops to a gallon )) to ph neutral water..it will supply oxygen to the roots ..have you been checking your ph...?

...no

I need to but have been short on funds for a hygrometer. But im looking for one this week. Ive decided to switch them over to flowering next monday. They are at about the right height to switch since they will grow more then. Im going to give them this week to recover though before the light change.
Possible?

you would rather spend 60 on something that might fail then 8 on the real thing

I would let a day go by with nothing but air and light. See what the leafs do. Depending if they curl more or look better we will have an idea of whether its over or under watering. If nothing happens it may have been nute burn. And to be honest those pics do very much look like nute burn. How much nutes where u giving them? Was it just smaller dosages or diluted?

uhh yes? Because it gives an actual reading not guestimation work you have to do with the colors. PLUS. Those colors arnt acurate to a tenth of a degree, and can even be off by entire point. PLUS. They only fail if you dont properly take care of them, blame the owner not the product. PLUS. I would have to continuously buy more testing fluid cause ide probably go through it in about a month. word.

robbie, ive only been using the recomended amount of fox farm liquid nutes, and hydroguard. I single time watered them with fox farm open seasame but havnt used since. And ive done an occasional foliage spray with a reduced dose of dutch master liquid light. I might give them a break...though considering how old they are i didnt think the nutes would hurt them that much. Im going to start flowering next week but i gotta do something to revive them before then.

Why not transplant?

Would that really help them out a lot? My only concern here is that my box isnt big enough to sustain any pots that are bigger, there simply wouldnt be enough room for growth, lights, and vent. I guess im lost on what this benefits, please let me know though cause im deffinetly not ruling it out.

However, I have come to accept that it is indeed nute burn. Today i found a new browing spot in the center of a fan leaf indicating that it is indead nutes and not light or water issues. I didnt want to accept it because i couldnt figure out why it would only affect H1 and H2 but not P1. The last reason I thought it couldnt be nute burn is because there is still new green growth appearing all over the two burnt plants; the new growths havnt been showing any signs off burning, infact they look like the whole plant did pre-drought. Could a nute burn only affect certain portions of the plant?

P1 comparativly is thriving, as green as ever, and unaffected completely by the 2-day drought and the nute regiment. Ive hypothesized that this may just be because it is a different strain than the H's, giving it a greater need for nutes than the others.

So, heres my plan. I started H1 and H2 on a diluted water regiment. H1 is on a 1-part nute mix and 3-parts regular distilled water, this should reduce its typical nute intake by roughly 75%. H2 im putting on a strickly water diet until improvement shows. P1 will stay as normal unless problems occure.

Thoughts?

Also, my fan leaves feel dry and riggid. Could this be due to the nute burn or possibly a low humidity in my box?

Transplanting weather or not in a new pot, creates clearer fresher more absorbable soil into the mix. Allowing the plant to breather and drink easier, and with fresher soil allowing for easier root growth as well. I have neeever had a bad result after using a transplant as a help for something that I did not know how to fix. And it usually will almost always correct or at least helps to the problems or anything the plant might be growing through. :peace:

Theyre on the rebound right now, cutting the nute ration has deff put some life back into H1 and H2.
H2 had some fan leafs that were dead through and through so i pulled those, now she looks like a crazy reverse lollypop almost.
H1 is back on the LST now to make sure her side branchings make it up and out of the pot ok. I have a little mit of soil left over from when I took some off the top and im considering putting it under H1 because shes the furthest down into the pot and it seems to be affecting her. I would do it to P1 too but i dont have a lot of soil and shes higher up, and her soil system seems to be doing great for her sooo.
P1 is thriving as ever, actually almost caught up to H1 in height.

Camera is out of town till tomorrow. Will take pictures tomorrow night during the first 12/12 cycle.

Well the day is here, and not a moment to soon. These beauts are doing pretty well and all have started to show additional budding hairs on top of the original ones that i thought were the fem sex hairs before. (pics bellow). Its just starting so theres only a few but their hairs, and their white = female bud confirmed. Finally they are switching over nute cycle now to include tiger bloom instead of big bloom, all else is still normal. And the finally finally, Ive realized that those severely damaged fan leaves are only burdensom to the H1 and H2, so i pulled the ones that were badly damages as they were only slowly dieing anyways.
Because of this I decided that it would be best to name them since they are confirmed girls, meaning they will live the rest of their lifes. It took me a while to think of them but they all fit with significant meaning.

H1 = is now = Hegemone, Greek goddess of plants who looks after blooming and making sure plants produced fruits like they should. Also for any of you politics kinda people it might remind you of a certain Soft or Hard power term (hegemony), giving the name double meaning as a goddess and for its hard or soft powers as a indica.

H2 = is now = Hope, this little one suffered the most out of the drought and I nearly thought it was a gonner for a while. But just as it bit the plight it bounced back as well. Also it functions as a girls name, and as an H name which I was requested to do by the person who gave me the seeds.

Finally P1 = is now = The Swayze Express (TSE), this name didnt differ to much from its parents name but has symbolic references. First to its parent genome, "Pat", the Swayze portion of the name is a reference to Patrick Swayze. Additionally to formal name itself, "The Swayze Express," references a canadian TV show Trailer Park Boys which would take to long for me to explain, i sugest you visit alluc.org look for it under TV shows and start watching (you will laugh your ass off).

Now for the pictures. All the plants are pushing between 8-10 in. The order follows: 1-2 Hegemone, 3-5 TSE, 6 Hegemony in box, 7 Hope in box, 8 TSE in box, 9-10 Family Photo, 11-14 sex pictures (all 3 have the white hairs so i dont know which is which).
