How to "light proof" a hole filled tent.

Ready for 12/12 but your tent is falling apart after 2 months?

Buy lots of Gorilla duct tape & for huge seam splitting leaks/sections of zipper with 3+ feet of leaks... use a long beachbtowel. (TOWELIE: Always Bring A Towel!) ;-) For porthole fabric with hundreds of tiny holes, use black magazine covers to seal up the whole port.

Have you tried turning off the light in the room where the tent is? If you tape all the zippers how do you open it up?

Only light in room is a small LED monitor w/brightness turned down. The tape, I remove it in the morning. Gorilla tape is reusable.

I wouldn't go through all that.
I know right? Damn thing was brand new in July, just started leaking more every day. I've got another AC Infinity tent new in box, will be throwing this one out after this run. If I'm lucky that next ones a winner lol ;-)

Keep the poles & floor tray. Maybe even the drawstring clamps. Those can shit the bed too. Replacements will come in handy.

If all the lights in the room are off what are you so paranoid about?

Wow! I've been wanting to "upgrade" to a ac infinity tent. I have a vivosun and have been using it for 2-3 years now and has zero issues.
After seeing your photos my opinion of ac infinity tents are in question. Are they not made well?

Like 75% of people say its a great tent. I've put up 3 so far. 2 were terminal, like large (stick your hand through tears). The one in the picture is tent #3, it started out "ok" (mostly pinholes) but then the zippers started to seperate. I put one of those clip-on Hurricane fans in a corner & now the seams have pulled apart enough on that corner that its lit up at night. The seams along front zipper are seperating after 2 months.

To be fair to the company, their customer service sent me 2 replacements & I still have one more to try in the closet. 4th try could be a charm! And their Inline fan/controller is a champ, i love it.

Wow that is a unfortune run of tents. I've yet to order something from AC Infinity that was bad/mediocre.
Maybe i'll hold off on getting a tent. My vivosun has been holding up well.
I do want to get ac infinities oscillating clip on fans soon.

It's entirely possible that I just had a run of bad luck or a UPS driver is having a laugh.

I've seen so many stories of trash quality AC infinity tents here. It's insane. Meanwhile I have a few two year old, $50 tents that have a single pin hole in the door and no zipper leaks. I'll take some photos later on tonight in compete darkness...

I usually throw two 240w quantum boards in each tent and stand outside in a dark room. The 2x4 I'm using is light tight bar a single pinhole in the door and a pinhole or two around the zipper which is no issue and it's an unbranded $50 tent. I'm obsessive as shit as well and open my tent like twice a day lol...it gets its use.

AC needs to pick up their act.

My Gorilla Lite tents are 5 plus years old and never a problem. Only pin holes here and there. I have owned 6 of them.
