And these guys are next.. some shots of the next plants coming down, and ECSD, making a nice showing, tight buds turning purple, far from ready, but these other ones, might just take em down. The spider mites I found, on ONE LEAF, I turned over saw the yellow eggs and mites in different stages, they are fuckin destroyers of hearts. They had already moved in and you couldn't tell until you peeled open a bud, and then it's chop chop, trash.. 20220929_115117.jpg20220929_115110.jpg20220929_115126.jpg20220929_130611.jpg20220929_130606.jpg20220929_115129.jpg
Ecsd last pic. Definitely growing next year. Seeds from Shoreline.
Byt as for as the spider mites go... Once they're in the grow, and you see em, it's a wrap.

Got em just in time, mites had just moved in recently, I moved one big bud and watched a million spores poof out and I said, hell no. Time to do this - View attachment 5205068View attachment 5205069View attachment 5205070View attachment 5205071View attachment 5205072View attachment 5205073View attachment 5205074View attachment 5205075
got some nice tops, yes, that one on the box is one branch. Several big colas, couple boxes of joy for the attic.
Hat says New England, btw.

Looks like it’s my neck of the woods turn to be Ground Zero for a big rain dump this weekend. Can’t really complain too much about the September weather, we’ve had some wet days and thunderstorms but no chronic heavy fog, tropical storms or big wind. Not taking anything down yet as still no amber trichs.

Plants seem happy. I’m happy to see some yellowing leaf fade on the Waziri Repros and purple on the Sholgar. Rustam Kush are still slow but colas are taking shape, the purple flowers are cool. Only found one spot of rot today. All in all I can’t complain.

Second Pic looks further advanced than the first. Glad you got them before The Rot or mites. Congrats on your harvest, wishing you many more to come @Poco56
Thanks PVOG! Ya, that first picture (Mimosa/Orange Punch) was starting to pick up more bud rot than I was comfortable with and it’s really further along than that picture effectively shows. I had no hesitation… I found some spider mites during the takedown too. So it was a good drop. 2 down 5 to go…

Yep, spider mites are wierd. They'll attack a plant, you'll swear the one right next to it is mite proof. But once they move in, you won't see the damage til your cussin'. Some plants are oddly resistant. Most are not. And mite a cide is, in my opinion, good as a preventative, not so much an eradication tool. Spider mites are like herpes, once you got it, you got it.

Ever try Spinosad? I’ve had stellar results with it against mites.
