What a trip. I was walking thru NYC this weekend and weed
Smells everywhere. Peeps Smoking Joints everywhere. No one gives a shit or cares
About the stigma anymore, it’s like so passé . I remembered protesting for weed legalization thru nyc back in the 1980s as a youngster. Now it’s like most people are
Could give a flying fuck, like it’s not that great or interesting. Lol
At the same time there was something cool about being a "criminal" for me lol.

@UpstateRecGrower It’s already here man. I guarantee that come next month, we’re gonna see $100 outdoor lbs.
Not permanently and not on the legal market. Growers not making a profit will only operate for so long, those dudes selling 100$ pounds are just getting rid of what they have and getting out, all the cheap pounds are from people sitting on them that can’t move them, pretty sure they won’t continue working for free or at a loss..

Read that again... what you just said. That's what's happening. Im here, and have a pretty good pulse on the market. We have Millions of currently drying plants from the outdoor grow ops. The patient count year over year has only increased about 1500 card holders.. currently at 376,000ish card holders. Smallest increase in 4 years. Cannabis Economics. It's just not sustainable. Many are cutting thier losses and jumping ship.

IF KS passes.. look the rules up very carefully... and watch out for things like "XX% out of State ownership, no caps on Growers, no canopy limits," etc... this is what fucked us over big time. We now produce more weed per capita than any other State in the US. Can't hardly give it away.
I've already read all the proposed legislation. Looks like a crap shoot on what we will get passed if anything. Think alot rides on our governors race. Hope to have my ducks in a row just in case I can jump in and make a few bucks even if for only a couple years.

Just curious as to what my fellow okies think about the fact that Oklahoma passed 200 new laws this year. I have not researched them yet but I am going to. Was there anything meaningful passed concerning our marijuana laws? Or was there anything passed that I should know about that I don't?

As far as being a card holder, no. Not much has changed. Most of the proposed laws are on the commercial level like tiered fees for Dispo's, Growers, Processors, etc. Prob the biggest news was the moratorium for no new applications for Commercial licenses for 2 years as of Aug 26th.. the normal fee is $2500 a year, and current Lic. holders are selling them for as much as $6,000 to (from what I've heard) $20,000. crazy stuff.

I "think" I saw them at FireTree Market in Tulsa... I'd have to go look, but sounds familiar.

I have some Freakshow IBL and Demon Auto IBL seeds sent to me by a guy here in Alberta a couple months ago. AFAIK IBL means In-Bred Line and can be produced anywhere. I want to grow out the Ashava Valley Cheese x Meat Breath he sent me first. Got lots of others I'm dying to try too but which first. Time to draw straws or something.

The BM is still chugging along here since the start of Prohibition 2.0 but a lot are out, prices have tanked, grow stores closed and grow gear, especially HID systems, is cheap like borscht. I'll just keep doing what I've done for decades and grow whatever I feel like and serves me and a few friends medically. I produce more than we all need now so still haven't bought any pot in a legal store since it started 3 years ago. Maybe 4. Don't much care.
