Considering a controller

A week ago I updated my light setup from viparspectra P4000 to KS5000. LOL. I'm a big fan of vipar. I also consider adding a controller to monitor the temp, humidity, schedules, etc. Can anyone recommend one that is good to use?

The controller on my AC Infinty fan works quite well for me. With the app, I can track, log, and adjust my room to hit "optimal" conditions.

Inkbird is great, you can add it to SmartLife app if you have any other smart home products using that app and view/change settings over wifi. And you can use it to switch on heating and cooling such as fans, exhausts etc.

If you just want to monitor things Ecowitt has a good range of fairly affordable sensors like temp, humidity, soil moisture etc.

Inkbird makes a good wifi environment monitor as well.

Yes definitely I have 2 of their IHC-200 humidity controllers and 2 of their ITC-308 temp controllers. What's cool is they use the Tuya platform so I could add the devices to the Smartlife app with my other non grow related smart home lights, fans, water leak sensors etc.

BTW how did your snapped gdp go, did it bounce back?

If you’re talking about a relatively small grow, the “AC Infinity Controller 69 Pro” has been a nice addition to my tent. You can control lights, fans, humidifiers and heaters with the controller or your phone…..and do it from anywhere if you have a 2.4 ghz wireless network by your tent. (Tip…..Buy the “pro” version so you can connect by Bluetooth and wifi). When paired with their inline fans, it’s a great environment control using the variable fan speeds. The controller is intimidating, but the phone app is excellent.

The downside of this model is that you are limited to programming 4 components. There is talk of adding splitters to program more components, but for now it’s limited to four ports. I plan to run two controllers on one tent….one for my lights and one for my fans.

She's definitely growing, but I can't help feeling something isn't quite right.

looks pretty healthy to me.. don't fix it if it ain't broke.

EDIT: i'd just say maybe LST it a bit as it seems it's growing into the corner rather than filling out the net.

Inkbird has a fan with a controller now. Don’t have a ACI to compare too. I’m excited to see if inkbird continues to update the controller. Lots of potential. Here’s some screen shots of the app interface.

Thanks for all of your recommendations. I will compare the AC Infinty fan with Inkbird, not decide yet.

The other downside to this model is the telementry in the app phoning home to the mother ship with the gps coordinates of your grow. And their shipping is jacked to stupid levels, then if you need a refund they wont refund the shipping and make out like bandits.

Ahh bugger mate, so sorry to hear. I do see what you mean, the plant just doesnt look super happy and has lost a bit of spring in it's step. Also I hope not too but is it developing a slight deficiency as well? Some of the leaves in the top/right have dark veins, but lighter leaves,. Some get pale going in to flow. but least hope it sails though the rest of the grow and you get what you need out of her.
