Drying room at 64% humidity?

Have been hanging my 10 plants now for 9 days. They are drying in a 8x8 grow tent with a small vivosun 2200ml dehumidifier and a fan pointed away from plants. Dehumidifier keeps reading 64% and has not dipped down. Threw a small little hydrometer in there and that’s reading 69% but not sure if the hydrometer would be accurate. What Do I need to do To make sure they dry up properly.

Not sure about the room it’s in my basement. Actually went down there about a half hour ago and humidifier was reading 57% and hygrometer was reading 50%. Branches are still not snapping tho. How long should I wait ? It’s now been 9 days off them hanging

There's a good chance that they aren't done, but if so you might want to ease up on the dehumidifying because towards the end they can dry really fast. You want a soft snap and not a dry break, if that helps.

So would you suggest shutting off the dehumidifier during the night then throw it back on in the morning? or maybe shutting it off for a few hours and then turning back on multiple times during the day for the next few days? Plan on bowl trimming when they seem done

Can you set it to 60 / 65%? That way it won't over-dry as easily.

DeHumidifier is not adjustable unfortunately

True. I can't say enough good things about Inkbird humidity controllers. I used mine for the first time this year and what a difference it made.

Trimmed everything 2 days ago and buds are sitting in grove bags. Grove bags are not heat sealed but threw a hydrometer in one of the bags and it was reading 53% humidity this morning. Hopefully this flower is ready to smoke in about 2 weeks as they recommend. Got about 3 to 3.5 pounds about of this grow.

Sounds over-dried to me. If I am not mistaken, because its that dry, it is essentially done curing because the humidity is outside of the curing range.

A lesson that I learned is that you DO NOT RELY on the snap branch test on drying weed. It doesnt work 100% of the time. Your buds can dry out while your branches still retain moisture. When all is said and done, you will need to touch your buds to see if they are starting to feel dry.

be careful with mold, if the colas are pretty large..
If the room is pretty chilly humidity aint as much of a concern but iv gotten mold drying big colas at 70f and 55rh within a week..
How cold is the tent
