Not sure about the room it’s in my basement. Actually went down there about a half hour ago and humidifier was reading 57% and hygrometer was reading 50%. Branches are still not snapping tho. How long should I wait ? It’s now been 9 days off them hanging
There's a good chance that they aren't done, but if so you might want to ease up on the dehumidifying because towards the end they can dry really fast. You want a soft snap and not a dry break, if that helps.
So would you suggest shutting off the dehumidifier during the night then throw it back on in the morning? or maybe shutting it off for a few hours and then turning back on multiple times during the day for the next few days? Plan on bowl trimming when they seem done
Can you set it to 60 / 65%? That way it won't over-dry as easily.
DeHumidifier is not adjustable unfortunately
Those inkbird humidity controllers come in handy for this issue.
True. I can't say enough good things about Inkbird humidity controllers. I used mine for the first time this year and what a difference it made.
Sounds over-dried to me. If I am not mistaken, because its that dry, it is essentially done curing because the humidity is outside of the curing range.
