Hello friends how's it growin? (Yes I stole that from BegginerBuds Yt)
This is my first time ever watering a plant or being around one I had no idea what I was doing but ordered 2 ebb and flow oxygen cubes 6 sites each I just had this desire to grow weed and the buzz I was finding was this was easy and simple large harvests
I hand fed these from clone roughly 10-2-22 but little did I know I wasn't supposed to let my coco coir perlite and vermiculite style medium I went with go dry and I was supposed to water every 4 hours I didn't want to overwater so I quickly adapted lift pot and see weight method of watering which I now learned treat coco like soil you get soil results.
3 weeks ago I changed that scedual and got super tired of daily feeding my ladies by hand in 2 tents and started changing my learning from non stop videos on organics as I only used organic till 3 weeks ago too how the hydroponics works.... I've made some great mistakes and in my eyes I've made a few accomplishments as well however the best thing is through all the Technical fouls I've got against me it's still 4th and inches and I'm in the game and in it to win it!
The nutrients I am now using came with my "complete hydro tent set up" its Lotus I'm using Cal Mag, silica blast and every so often great white (I have orca arriving today and I'll use it in every res I just didn't like GW was powder form)
I foliar feed often, yes I'm still learning and adjusting and doing things wrong like leaving the light intensity too high and burning one pretty BAD but in my foliar feeds I do like using tea's In my teas I run a water pump for a waterfall inside a large container ingredients I usually use will be listed I'll list them all but do NOT mix them all just a overall what I want I'll mix some of the following.
Worm castings ill throw a cup in there and then sprinkle a little more over that
Bat guano
Vegan blend
Kelp meal
Epsom salt
Blackstrap molases
My tents are YieldLab (many many pinholes I need to aluminum hvac tape up) lighting is 400 watt advanced specturm dimmable at full power most of veg seen 500-600 PAR today I bumped it too 900 par max 800 most places.
I just upgraded each tent with 2 Ac infinity oscillating fans as the stationary junk ones that came with my kit was TRASH at very best.
Also with the fans I picked up 2 pro 69 controllers I will most likely hook up later today be nice to dial in vpd for starting flower stage.
My tents are in the living room and in said living room I'm running a large and a small air purifier and intermittently turn on a ozone generator for 20 30 min and esp any time I'm gone it's on doing its thing.
I've learned a lot about LST and super cropping the stuff you just don't get watching the videos at least I didn't I have done a pretty good job with its manifold if your a rookie that is I'll be happy to start early and know what I'm doing next time (which is soon enough gor 12 autos in 1g fabrics)
I just got off the horn with my hydroponics system manufacturer and apparently they don't make any size bigger than the "5 gallon" which is only true fits a 3 g fabric apparently these are a auto flower hydroponic system imo bc she said everyone who uses this system only needs the fabrics and pot that they have .. so I just expensively ordered some of the ONLY buckets 10g for hydro I could find
I'd liked to get this white anti microbial version but they was 90 percent more than the plain black buckets lol and with 150 in shipping I couldn't justify that if it didn't have shipping I'd took em
But 6 of my 7 are from every side and bottom explosive roots showing and ive already transplanted into 5g pots!
While shocked to see roots I was pleasantly surprised to see super white roots.
However I'd never cleaned the bottom of the buckets and the residue trapped between the grommet and the drain hose was pretty freaking FOUL smelling not the water itself but the brownish sludge I cleaned that all out with 70 iso and peroxide combo throughly. I have the 1 who's seen some hard times from a seriously stupid idiotic mistake I made being lazy hand watering I would just toss a cup of feed hap hazardly 1/4 across the tent to hand feed... like I said ive made some serious stupid mistakes lights was also left on she got burned pretty good then a deficiency but the little stinker (literally smells like gasoline more of a smell than even the biggest plant I got) and is recovering, since i have the 6 in flower mode I've just created a temp set up on the garage we are in winter here in the dirty desert with a high of 68 so garage and a fan and some lights we rolling, tomorrow my spider farmer 5x5 tent arrives with 2 more ac infinity fans and I have a viribright 600w ped light for that tent, ac I finite exhaust and oscillating fans on the way glad these are all phenos as it's allowed me time to learn and try and fix problems without fear of a failed harvest like autos uncontrollable when they will flower I think in 2 weeks she will be ready to Initiate flower but then again I know nothing about this as you may or may not see lol I'm trying tho and got my heart in the right place.
I've been foliar feeding and when I do that I add in hydroguard AND great white (I fet to replace great white today with Orca I'd rather it be liquid than powder but I LOVE great white I've seen insane root production.
(Yes you can foliar spray great white or orca or benificals the roots are not the ONLY place they work and most seem to think when you say great white the ONLY ingredient is the love fungus among us mycorrhizae I promise it ain't)
I will do a Res change later today or tomorrow and post my feeding levels ppm and Ph I have a bluelab Ph pen which I can finally trust a ph pen I'll never use those trashy 10 dollar ones again they belong st the dollar store
I also am running a res constant ph monitor, my water is RO and temp is 22 Celsius

maybe lotus is right and 1.4k ppm is closer to what I need I'll slowly daily work my way up until I'm happy with new growth appearance
