but thats what im trying to understand...how can they be over dried if the stems are still bendy and not snappy. if u squeeze the buds, they crumble yet have an abundance of moisture in the centers. It was an outdoor harvest in early oct into nov far from our first. So some have been hanging for 6 weeks or so which is by far the longest we have ever had to leave anything up before bucking or boxing. But givin some of the colas were epically large, it seemed like a reasonable time frame considering two weeks or so is usually around the time it takes for most of ours to be ready for cure/trim. The only time ive ever pulled, what i would call early from the drying lines, led to the larger colas webbing in the centers with light rot after jarring/boxing. Those also were on their third week on the lines with much skinnier stems, and i needed the room at the time. I figured 3 weeks was plenty even if the cola stems weren't snappy yet. I was wrong and have dried to snaps ever since. Using it as a general guide of course to knowing to pull off dry lines. These stems are still holding moisture... How can these buds all be crumbly unless their was possibly an underlying stem rot issue over looked?? As of now, im not sure whether to continue to cure and trim or crumble it all up, extract and cry. I appreciate the help guys Thanks.
