while this is a thread about poor little rich boi, we weren't talking about him at the moment, at least not directly.
HGCC has a solar panel set up from them, and they've stood him up multiple times on a repair call. he said they finally came today....and i asked...

I gathered that and people who own roofs and cars are complaining about aftermarket servicing, particularly solar roofs. Seems Elon is big on promises and short on delivery. It's the same with Twitter only he bought that and never created it, he never created Tesla either from what I can gather but bought the idea. I never knew much about Elon, but recently discovered he's as big a liar as Trump and apparently so ego driven, he will blow $44 billion on it. With all that money what good has he done with it? He said world hunger could be solved for a small fraction of his fortune, why isn't he doing it? I wouldn't buy anything from such a person, roof or car.

i think part of that may be the kind of person who will buy a tesla...disinterested in the rest of the world, eager to show off that they have a tesla

part of it may be that some of them are dumb enough to think that a tesla can successfully drive itself....
and part of it is that drivers are getting progressively worse, the average driver i see now couldn't have passed the test i had to take to get my first license in 1980.

Future Teslas will have multimode self-driving: Courteous, black (all the rules carefully followed), White (some rules followed), right up to Arrogant rich bastard, the most popular selection. :lol:

They are pretty common around here, it's like the new prius, which I don't see as many of anymore. They are like 3 or 4 on the bad driver list. Tops by far are the big ass pickups, second is the car racer dudes, distracted tesla drivers are down with the folks driving around on 3 donuts pulling a shopping cart hooked to their car with bungee cords.

Seems like once a week we have a shooting on the interstate, normally it's car racer dudes...normally racing stolen cars.

Hope the sun comes out to see if they actually fixed the panels, winter in general isn't great and it's kinda overcast, so they have not yet turned on.
