Like the title said week 5 flower everything going good till i found bananas. I know that means the plants a herme but idk much else I'm new to growing.

I removed the branch with the naners and it was time for the lights to go off so the next day when i got a chance to get back i went searching, and i found what could be another banana, so i again wrapped it up cut the branch out so it couldn't spread.

So i guess my big question is will the plant keep making bananas? Should I keep it in my tent n keep a close eye for them?

Or should I remove the whole plant?

Its almost week 6 is that to early to harvest instead of just toss it away?

Any help would be appreciated greatly. Tks ahead of time

Im including some pics idk how helpful it will be but i guess it will help give an idea atleast i hope...

Yes, nanners will keep being produced. I've read some folks save the pollen and do some kind of cross breeding. I have not been interested in breeding, so have no experience with it. In my 2x4 tent I've grown more than one plant with nanners next to a female, and there didn't seem to be any pollination of either plant so I didn't get any seeds! I was expecting and hoping to get a bunch (seeds are expensive)! I don't know if that will be the case with your plant, I have read that hermie plants will pollinate and make seeds at times, and that some growers use this to create female-only seeds.

If you have a pure female, you can clone her and it will have the same characteristics as the mother. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

If it's your only plant let it rip and get what you can out of it in a few weeks. If you have other plants that it could also seed then take the L and body bag it (put contractor bag over the plant and chop at the base, tie off the bag and remove from grow area) Try not to rustle around the plant cause pollen will go airborne very easily the more you disturb it.

Just let it finish. Pluck the nanners and continue on your way

If you chop now it’s very underripe just keep watching for nanners and pluck em off carefully just the nanners with a clean tweezers you don’t wanna pull the green stuff or any terps with it. I had them for a bit but I haven’t found anymore it did make a few seeds that I have seen so far where the nannas where at

You sure that is week 5? Looks like 3. Plants are Looking great though. Pluck the nanners and just try not to stress the plants for awhile and keep close eye for any other problems.

They will pour pollen into your grow tent and everything there. Week 5 is early to begin daily plucking and you will not get them all. Start all over again but make sure the tent is clean and there’s no light gremlins.

I’ve seen it go both ways but being only 5 weeks is a factor. Late nanners don’t bother me.

I'm working off the assumption they are at 5 weeks of 12/12, so probably week 2 or so of flower
Yea fliped 5 weeks ago, i got a calander on my grow with jane app. Today's day 35.

On another note Today's the schedule for gaia green to top dress should i feed as normal or hows that work since its the 5th week? The gaia green amendments take about 2 weeks to break down to be available to the plants, how does that factor in with the end of flowering, aren't you supposed to stop feeding the last 2 weeks of flower?
