Well I have poked up and down the % , what happens with the plants from day one under these ,they stop growing...leaves look like over watering.
I had to put them for once a day short burst of water that they would get something...but pots still heavy and I mean tiny pots they have !!!
The other group which is under metal halide are nearly doubled in size in last couple of days . These under leds have grown 0 .
Now the lights are on 30% and 2 feet a part from plants. Just put them like that...and now I am not even going to spit in their direction.
I am so glad that as soon as there is space in flower rooms they get under good old HPS huhhh..I hate those freaking Leds.
They've grown zero because you've shocked the fuck out of them.
That ain't going to fix itself in a couple of days.

If all things were right from the get go you'd be saying something different.
It is what it is.
But flowering is where these things shine and you'd be foolish to write them off so soon.

FWIW I still like MH for veg but I'd never go back to hps for flowering.

Thanks, I have to admit that I took all the leds out of play and put the whole room for this group back under T-5's , when I looked at the plants I was that fuck it ,right now I don't have time trying to make it work the plants looked dreadful , I will continue later training how to use the leds but now can't waist any time ,the scedule for everything is too tight.

1. Buy a light meter
2. Take your T5 measurements
3. Move up and dim your light until you get the same measurements in 2.

It would take me longer to move the light

This run I'm doing under my OLD 400 watt MH/HPS light and....there's no doubt the plants LOVE HID lights. Maybe it's this....Maybe it's that....I don't know. I've grown under both HID and LED with success, but there's no denying there is "something" in HPS that marijuana plants particularly love. I'm not even going to question it. That said, LEDs are great, too. You just have to dial them in if you've been used to growing under HID.

I think I'm also going to look into a CMH fixture and a good T5 fixture, too. Some of the very best tasting marijuana I've ever smoked was grown under fluorescent shop lights back in the day. I remember the plants didn't yield well, but OMG what a taste they had. I'm wondering if the plants aren't somehow responding to the way the fluorescents "pulse" on and off (really fast). Maybe it's not just the spectrum, but maybe it's the spectrum and the "rhythm" of the light, too....Yeah, I know.....I'm high....shut up. :)

Thanks, I did load and pretty good light meter app which can be calibrated also with an device..I did the reading from T-5 really close as thats where you keep the plants..around 300 ppfd with the app measured.
But is it possible that the readings are not equal of the actual strength as 300 with Scorpion Diablo and 300 with T-5...or are the readings describing the same ray values . I mean with any viable meter as measured.
I had to do the panic decision and do what I know in that situation would work...as it did, so playing with the new toys is for on other time.

Or save the drama - shitcan the lights and grow , become a shoe cobbler or macy’s xmas elf.

Time of the year - people need new kicks
That’s what Black Friday sales are for. Got me a nice pair of merrel hiking boots for $40, last pair I had lasted a good 5 years of regular wear and are still my yard work shoes
