It took time to distribute because it was "clumpy" before our physical laws became relevant. That "clumpiness" is the crux of my claim."A brief history of time " may also have this.Cheers
I see. When you referred to the outside of our dimension, I thought you were talking about after the Planck time, or our current universe. I love the idea of extra dimensions a la String and M theory, but as that hasn't been demonstrated yet, it currently falls under philosophy rather than science. Hope we make such a discovery in my lifetime. Cheers.

To a 7 year old ,a year is 1/7 of life.To a 70 year old, a year is 1/70 th.
Especially so considering we don’t formulate long term memories/identities until we are around 5.

So a 7 year old only has about 3years of solid memories making your explanation even more valid
