NY law I believe, some states have recall, but in NY I don't think he can be compelled to resign his seat, even if convicted and imprisoned. Not sure, but it could be a loophole in the law, if Kevin won't expel him, he can't vote from a prison cell, but might be paid to do his time!

The above was easier to find than quotes from political pundits I saw on TV. His district was close and democratic, this scandal will not go down well back home and is all the talk on the local news. Do you think it improbable that a special election would flip the seat in the wake of this shit? The real question is will he resign or can he be removed from office so that another election can be held. I'm not sure about that process in NY, he could be doing time and still keep his seat and pay check while holding down the seat for the GOP

I dunno if they will last two years Roger, so many could end up indicted it could change the house or it will fuck it up real good! When Trump is indicted over the docs it might end up breaking them, depending on what happens with Kevin, since he was in on the document thing too and Georgia, both will probably be first up to bat. These clowns in congress are even weaker than they appear IMHO and when the shit hits the fan it will be a stress test for them for sure.

Until all these election deniers are purged from govt. a sense of forboding will always exist,and this also goes for the senate(can't get T.Cruz out of my mind sponsoring AZ. contesting the vote). It's going to take a while which is very depressing and it's really hard to reach over the aisle in bipartisanship to get anything done in the meantime.These people lack ANY sense of morals and operate under a heads I win tails you lose mentality.
