Did you know in some southern states what you call a toque is called a toboggan? Really weird using both words in the same post. We call them hats
Why do Southerners call hats toboggans?

The first recorded use of the word toboggan for a hat was in 1929. It is short for toboggan cap. It is thought that it was first used in this sense in Appalachia. A knitted cap used when people would go tobogganing was called a toboggan hat or cap and then shortened to toboggan.Apr 30, 2021

Those motherfuckers cut seriously into my 'nap' time. Finally someone figures it out!

Truthfully I spent a shitload of time dozing in the neurosurgical ICU. The beeps and whirring were comforting as were their 'bright' lights.

Learning to sleep on a subway is similar.

The background noise and passenger traffic was key to knowing when to get up.

If you missed your stop, there were few options.

At least at the next stop they were willing to help you get back on track.

I kept my cool and got to where I need to be.
