The Constitution is a lot like the Bible. Either is an extremely poor sole standard for social conduct. And yet many preach doing just that with either or both. Poor dumb (instance of name-calling, plural).Dumb ass Joe just made it so Trump will walk Scott free folks. Like it or love it, no chance he is charged with anything regarding the documents now, Joe either... it's nuts any of these rich millonaires who suck off our hard work are given a pass but it will happen. So....smoke up, drink up, do whatever but the lefts orgasmic fantasy anything will happen to Trump over this is OVER, the dumb ass Joe made sure of it. P.S. cooperation does not excuse a complete admission on national television, just saying.
PSS. How about this, to hell with party line crap and actually embrace the US Constitution. When you allow the individual, with a profit motive, to flourish, you get the best out of people. I'm sorry people, a trophy for all doesn't work, although its an admirable goal for humanity.
I differentiate true libertarian believers as dupes from those who adopt the guise to influence those dupes. Ron Paul, for example. He was never a proponent of open, fair and free markets. He espoused libertarian ideology and at the same time published newsletters that contained horrendously racist articles painting Black men as thugs. Von Mises, one of the founders of US libertarian ideology wrote this .which is why I parenthetically described the semantics as cynical.
A similar state of affairs was seen in Soviet “communism”, whose real nature was illustrated by full Party membership only being available to a tiny and privileged minority.
So what is betterThe Constitution is a lot like the Bible. Either is an extremely poor sole standard for social conduct. And yet many preach doing just that with either or both. Poor dumb (instance of name-calling, plural).
If you say extremely poor, you must have an extremely good. Let's hear what YOU feel is better for humans and actually attainable. The Constitution is a lot like the Bible. Fallacious reasoning on your part.So what is better
If you say extremely poor, you must have an extremely good. Let's hear what YOU feel is better for humans and actually attainable.
And I damned well sure deny it. The underlying premise seems to be, once again, that there is a minority of “people of quality”, an ordained ruling class. Just, wow.I differentiate true libertarian believers as dupes from those who adopt the guise to influence those dupes. Ron Paul, for example. He was never a proponent of open, fair and free markets. He espoused libertarian ideology and at the same time published newsletters that contained horrendously racist articles painting Black men as thugs. Von Mises, one of the founders of US libertarian ideology wrote this .
"Nothing, however, is as ill founded as the assertion of the alleged equality of all members of the human race."~Ludwig Von Mises, Liberalism
And this:
It cannot be denied that Fascism and similar movements aiming at the establishment of dictatorships are full of the best intentions and that their intervention has, for the moment, saved European civilization. The merit that Fascism has thereby won for itself will live on eternally in history. But though its policy has brought salvation for the moment, it is not of the kind which could promise continued success. Fascism was an emergency makeshift. To view it as something more would be a fatal error.
It can damn well sure be denied that Fascism and similar movements aiming at the establishment of dictatorships are full of the best intentions. Libertarianism in the style found in the US is anything but about liberty.
FifyAlso, please don't give me the intellectual utopian answers that typical social scientist professors I used to work for would say, because most of that is just exercises in word and thought play, such as what I have presented.
I had to look at what fify meant. I see it now, you just added your own words onto what i said and portrayed it as my own words. I believe that should be taken down.Fify
I believe in many things myself. Here’s one: your opening post was and is specious.I had to look at what fify meant. I see it now, you just added your own words onto what i said and portrayed it as my own words. I believe that should be taken down.
The phrase “open, fair and free markets” just caught my eye. A unicorn. It seems to me that open and free (unregulated) markets are the antithesis of fair. Their natural end stage imo is as absolutely powerful, and thus absolutely corrupt, monopolies.I differentiate true libertarian believers as dupes from those who adopt the guise to influence those dupes. Ron Paul, for example. He was never a proponent of open, fair and free markets. He espoused libertarian ideology and at the same time published newsletters that contained horrendously racist articles painting Black men as thugs. The attitude toward those documents is important. In one instance it is “oops, let me make it right.”Here is the difference between partisans and regular people. If the standard is you don't keep top secret documents in your house after you left office, or your garage after you left office, then you arrest them all. You don't say it's OK for one and not ok for the other. Man, someone from the left saying Joe fucjed up would be a refreshing change and if you are in the business of arresting politicians for this stuff, then hold them accountable and arrest them!!! It CANNOT be all partisan.
I do not agree at all. The guy had documents in several places and I could easily argue trumps place was way more secure. Probably the person most at fault is whoever runs the security for these things unless they in fact said to each of them turn this stuff back in. A date rape or a street rape, it's all rape. If Joe didn't know he had the stuff, then you can argue he is reckless with classified material, hardly a good attribute of a president. As I said, arrest them all or arrest none, they did the same damn thing. The attitude toward those documents is important. In one instance it is “oops, let me make it right.”
In the other it is “it’s not theirs. It’s mine!”
The two cannot honestly be equated.
Not sure what fucjed is; would you accept “Joe fucked up”? Or certainly part of his staff? Unlike the other guy, I see no intention in Joe of possessing them, or of holding them hostage.
To the bolded, that has been disproven by the cameras in the Florida residence, which showed unrestricted access.I do not agree at all. I get the sense that he's just repeating what he heard on some right wing radio show. He clearly doesn't know much about either case.To the bolded, that has been disproven by the cameras in the Florida residence, which showed unrestricted access.
