"The United Nations General Assembly designated January 27— the anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi German death camp Auschwitz—as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. On this annual day of commemoration, the UN urges every member state to honor the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and millions of other victims of Nazism, and to develop educational programs to help prevent future genocides". and yet...

Sadly the intent of the post was to show that post WW2 and the enactment of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we (collectively as a world people) did little to stop these slaughters in the later half of the 20th century. Prior to that, every major “civilized” world player had a shameful history on their dealings with and conquering of indigenous peoples; USA and the American Indian and African Slave Trade; Great Britain in Australia, Africa and India; Belgium in the Congo; the Spanish conquest of the Mesoamericans; Russian Empire's ethnic cleansing of the Circassian population and native Siberians; Japan and Nanking: the Ottoman Empire and the Armenians; China and the Sichuan and Dzungar massacres; the French Wars of Religion; the Mongol Conquests and Invasions in Asia... the list goes on.And no mention of the US All I'm gonna add, is dont take blankets from U.S. government.
