Got to do some work next few days in a diecast aluminum foundry, just wonderful. >:(
Reclamation furnace recasts aluminum ingots from the slag, and the casting furnces .
They had 55 gal drum of molten aluminum sitting somewhere today, gotta stay on my toes at this place.

I had to go back here for a job, I think they added us as the permanent contact...arrG!
This is the barrell of molten aluminum I had nightmares about.
They drive this around with a forklift, put all the scrap in here and pour it back into the melting furnace.

How the heck is that OSHA approved? That's crazy.

And how long do those flange bearings last - I bet the seals don't make it more than a couple of days.

Lol I am also doing something a little strange.
Ripped open an old 2007 Lenovo T61 notebook... stuck an SSD and some extra ram in there and am now busy changing it over to windows 10 from 7...
We have daily brownouts so I need something that can tick by on my small generator.
It was already in the house, it just needs a few upgrades to get its mojo back. Just used for youtube and browsing.
