We got some good news on the granddaughters the biological mother has now ran out of time for her last appeals and last visit with the girls so that's no longer even on the table so secretly I've been hoping that the adoption will be finalized by my birthday in July is that a little selfish lol

nice, finger crossed man, and thanks for opening to heart for another mouth to feed. Just keep in mind, i'm an adoptee myself, keep tabs on the bio-mother, so that way when the granddaughers are old enough they can get back in touch if they want too......

otherwise congrats and i hope all things end well

My best high was...
stoned gliding on a bike down a Smoky Mtn road on a beautiful mild day through sunlight filtering through the mountain hardwoods and feeling the cool breeze on my face and chest with a babbling mountain stream beside me just begging me to cool my feet.

That is on my bucket list, at least one more time, please.

My parents threatened to send me to milk cows with my uncle, except they were serious.
Mine sent me to a family members farm during hay cutting season to hook square bales of hay and toss them on a trailer as it was being pulled by a tractor. It was not fun but I did learn that I didn't want to be a farmer. It was 4 years of military school after that to further learn valuable life lessons like how to shine boots and do pushups. Gotta love having Irish Catholic parents raised during the depression, real sense of humor :bigjoint:
