love the rain too, it's way easier to breathe when it's raining. but the snowpack this year is so dense, going to have to wait until like may to get to my hiking spots!

I tried a cool hike by my house for the first time the other day, 1500ft elevation gain over 3ish miles, decently steep. Took the kiddo on it, she handled it like a champ.

Yea, carrying water, rationing it just sucks, harder than any hikes.
I got to a water hole, found a dead muskrat in it, had only a qt of water for the hike out the next day...
