Flowering 4 ladies with 25,000 lumens in a 2.5x2.5

I’m running a 2ft 8 bulb T5 with 2700k, 6500k & puré PAR bulbs. Using 60 watts of supplemental LED side lighting for support. All in All I’m pushing around 25.5-26,000 lumens. Trying to prove a point that u can flower with t5s and a little supplemental side lighting.

trust me I know all about the different type of lighting available, I been doing this since 2006 so if I’m using something in particular it’s definitely because I thought it over and it turned out to be the best option for what I’m doing at the time. Also I threw this together with stuff I already had laying around for the most part, minus the tent.

if I do decide to get an LED I was looking at a good 600w ipower or possibly a VivoSun

In not questioning your motives. Do what you want. I just wanted to make sure you knew you had options. You're obviously aware of the options though. Carry on.

Lumens aren't a measure of light relative to plant growth. It was the same in 2006.
T5s are still great for starting clones or seedlings. There's so many better options for veg and flowering now. There's even t5 led conversion lamps.
Gl with the lightshow.

My first grow was flowered under t5's. It is subpar but depending on genetics can produce good smoke. I'd pull your canopy flat and lower the light to an inch above. Good luck, I look forward to your harvest. Less light less nutes.

I remember flowering a small plant under an incandescent light in my early teens. It was bagseed from some Columbian Gold. I rigged up a box with the light in it. My parents never knew. Plant got about 6 inches and I ended up with about a bowl. This was in the late 70's and it was my first indoor grow and I used what I had available.

T5's are great for starting plants and vegging with. I've never flowered with them although I have flowered with standard T8 fluorescents years ago. I have a 4 ft 4 bulb 54watt HO fixture I use. I'm thinking of getting an 8 bulb off of craigslist as they're so cheap these days and I use them for starting other kinds of plants as well.

If you bend those taller branches down and get the lights closer you'll get a better result.

Good luck.

Everyone here has

Welcome
Exactly my point, figured I could make a post without getting questioned as to why I’m doing so lol and I know theirs tons of people on here that probably know tons more than me, I always raid the post when I’m searching for good info but that it was appropriate to finally make a profile, :) all suggestions and tips are more than welcome. But yeah definitely would like to run a proper LED set up soon, maybe in the fall I’ll switch it up after my outdoor season

ya my 6500k bulbs are LED T5 conversion bulbs and I have bloom & veg bulbs from Agromax & Powerveg who are both really good companies. So far I only have about 150$ put into this grow so honestly I don’t think I’m doing too bad, I used to flower with 2 of my t5s and 2 150w hps but I ended up passing those on to my buddy before I stopped for awhile and am barely now jumping back into things, I have 1000w hps but it way too hot for this tent so not an option atm

ya that’s what I normally do is scrog it out, but since I’m running 3 different strains and 1 sativa lady already stretching tons more than the rest I’m not sure if it would be worth trellising… I need to re adjust my ties for their LST
