same, you may be able to find a gooseneck tripod/clamp or something that you can use to hold the device so you can bend it in place and it will hold steadyI just can't keep my hands steady enough using this USB camera inside my tent. Any ideas?

Great idea, I'll try this next time I open the tent. Thanks!Does your microscope take video? I just got one myself and have found that if I make a video, trying to stay within focus distance, I can then slowly “frame” through the video seeking the best still images to capture.
I know other people also remove nugs to examine them closely, though that’s unnecessary.
your images seem clear enough though.

I'm sure we all do.Tbh, I would recommend learning to recognize the signs of ripeness other than the trichomes - pistils receding, bracts swelling, etc. Microscopes are fiddly enough trying to look at a nug on a tabletop, much less on a branch swaying in the breeze...
Assuming someone does that, will a lower bud be representative of the rest of the plant, or does it need to be an upper?sacrifice a nug
Are you sure, I can't tell what % from those pictures. And no I'm not really looking for amber, I don't like couch-lock.I can see your tricomes are cloudy. Are you waiting for amber? OTW it is harvest time.
Love the pictures!I just can't keep my hands steady enough using this USB camera inside my tent. Any ideas?

It's not ready. Wait until most of the pistils are receded and calyx's swollen. No harm in taking a popcorn bud off and drying it to get an idea, but whatever you do don't use the microwave for it, lol.Assuming someone does that, will a lower bud be representative of the rest of the plant, or does it need to be an upper?
Can you show me an example of pre-receded & receded on one of your plants. Thanks manIt's not ready. Wait until most of the pistils are receded and calyx's swollen. No harm in taking a popcorn bud off and drying it to get an idea, but whatever you do don't use the microwave for it, lol.
How was that pura vida bro? Thing looks appealingAn almost mature Pura Vida clone from Bodhi. I still gave it another week+ though. But it would've been fine to chop then.

So the "receding" are you saying they go from outwards reaching / spikey to curled up & closer to bud. Or do they literally retract into the bud. Still a bit confused. An almost mature Pura Vida clone from Bodhi. I still gave it another week+ though. But it would've been fine to chop then.
