The last two requirements make sense but the first one is bullshit. Particularly from a country that owes much of its success to immigration.

I don’t know of any other democratic country that has this stipulation.

I believe the intent was to prevent something like what we have now with foreign interference and actors within the government. The idea being that a foreign born person could still hold loyalty to whatever country they came from and would sell out America if they got into power. That reasoning doesn't age well.

Turns out money is the key to getting someone to sell out their country.

The United States completely changed the way government functions in 1776 at that time every other country was a dictatorship. Maybe its time for a reform. Instead of holding these corporate cucks who are getting huge amounts of money from pharmaceutical and oil lobbyists up on a pedestal. How about we only elect those who arent getting kickbacks from government contracts? IDK political tensions has caused people to see everyone as a extremist because they have a view different then their own, and thats not a great table to try and debate a solution at imho. People need to see that they arent much different from those in another party. Yes we all have different ideas but the whole concept of compromise is gone its either do this or were going to limit the things you do. To me this is foreshadowing of a social credit score.

People need to see that they arent much different from those in another party.

well, they are, is the problem...some people want minorities and women to not have a voice, a choice in their own lives, they fear lgbtq people, and immigrants, and villainize them, make them targets in cultural wars that only exist because they lie to foolish people who believe them...Those people are different...much different.

How hard is it to implement a policy where any standing president holding stocks or accepting money from lobbyist is Guilty of treason, because at that point they'd be putting personal gain above the people they were elected by to lead?

These are generalities. Can you describe how you would want to proceed, and what type of government you hope to see? It’s the specific actions that hold my interest.

He needs to be held to account and an example made to others, but we have no control over how this will unfold, and the republicans are still competitive in the polls, very much so. They will need to be divided for the democrats to win a big enough majority for a mandate, particularly in the senate to defeat the filibuster rule and have simple majorities. I believe Trump can deliver on this, if allowed to run around long enough and it's not like we have a choice about his trial date. However, he will have a choice about whether he spends his pretrial time in custody or out running around causing mayhem for the republicans during primary season, perhaps to win it, only to leave them high and dry with a disqualifying conviction for insurrection.

There are so many possibilities contained in a certainty and that certainty is Donald being convicted and imprisoned, in some fashion or another. It will probably happen next year, before the election and could come from NY GA or the feds. The documents and obstruction trials should not take that long once he is indicted federally. It is my hope he will be destroyed on TV in Georgia with state republicans testifying on TV against him, justice must not just be done, it must be seen to be done too.
