Our local BBQ dive has amazing pork belly and burnt ends. Their sauce is decent but the meat is amazing. I get it to go with no sauce and just doctor up some Sweet Baby Ray's bbq sauce and use that. I'm so wanting BBQ right now.
We've got a brewery/restaurant here that serves a killer Rubin sandwich with pork belly instead of brisket.
To die for (probably literally).

Nice! Sounds tasty! My wife introduced me to cornbread, didn’t know I was missing out so much lol
Dad taught us kids a great way to eat cornbread.
Big glass of ice cold milk (preferably fresh) & drop a big chunk in, let it soak up a bunch & then mash it up with a spoon.
That's good country eatin there straight from the Depression days.

Speaking of corned beef. They had round on sale a week ago so I grabbed a few packs. I decided to corn some. In the US brisket seems to be the traditional cut but other cuts like round are used as well. The two pieces on the bottom are twice as thick as the piece in the tongs. I cut a small piece off and microwaved it. Tastes like corned beef. Looks like I'm having Reuben's tonight.

I saw a place on Food Network that made a BLT with a burger made of ground BACON!:clap::clap:
I used to use bacon ends and pieces when grinding Moose, Caribou - it worked great except asking for a rare burger is out of the question so I don't add anything extra any longer.

Had to hit the grocery store for a couple of things so to keep the cost down a smoked brat from last night with garlic sour kraut was on the menu for brunch.

Venison meatloaf inspired by @420God tonight.
It's in the oven now - Thanks 420 - I winged it & it smells pretty good atm.

Hopefully I can keep the carnivores at bay to take a pic before we dive into it.

We spent some time south of I 10...
She was born and raised at the end of the road heading south and is a firebrand.
I brought her outta the swamp & to the interior of AK. Never seen snow in her life & first winter up north it hit -60 F.
Divorce was on the table, but we had 4 kids so we always seemed to work it out, but this girl can cook Cajun!

Tonight's dinner before we destroyed it. Thanks @420God for the inspiration.
