it was a ez out for the circle hook, and the fish was pissed. i didnt check.
but i am pretty sure it was a alligator gar.
it went right back in the bay.

Well, I am impressed. You must be very talented to land a beast like that. So you have to keep your pole in a special area so that it remains upright and secure as you lure it in? Like Quinn used in Jaws.

i set my fishing pole in a holder, but once i get a bite, its hands on!
that gar made all the wrong moves, theres rocks and poles he could have broke me off on.
i use medium size tackle....65lb test
