If you put them on the ground they can grow through the bag into the ground underneath them. You'd probably want to loosen the soil up and amend it before placing the bag. It would be like almost planting in the soil.I’m hoping to grow some trees in these 400 gal bags lol the roots should grows out of the bags and into the soil underneath, I’ve noticed in my 100gal bags they get kinda root bound by flower time but the roots are able to grow out of the bags they form/grow along the planks on the pallets they’re on, I’ve thought about taking them off the pallets to see if there is a difference, what you think?
