A side effect of the GOP bleeding membership has been the pronounced rightward lean the democrats have taken on - it proved a real complicating factor for Obama during his terms. The last few years have corrected that tilt, but it IS a danger of accepting all refugees. The struggle within the party to stay on task is greatly complicated by having to accommodate the enemy’s positions in ranks. Practically every crack about ineffective democrats has been potentiated by republicans in Dem clothing, acting like there’s nothing to see here.
Makes me hope a case (multiple cases) can be made against Harlan Crow for bribery in re: Thomas, Manchin, Cruz, Sinema, et al
