Well - I meant a collective we. And now I feel old AF.... I was born in 1990 ...
She's only a couple years older than my son so I'm right there with ya. I would have graduated college in 90 if I hadn't taken the last part of the year off for a Grateful Dead tour in my buddies lime green VW bus for a few months. I wouldn't trade the tour for a degree for all the money in the world.Well - I meant a collective we. And now I feel old AF.
I was 11 years into my current IT career in 1990. I would have been the Team Lead for a 6 man crew managing the production job schedules for a large Data Centre. So I am old AF - and a geek to boot!... I would have graduated college in 90 if I hadn't taken the last part of the year off for a Grateful Dead tour in my buddies lime green VW bus for a few months ...
Guamanian food is yummy! One of my favorite breeder's is called Guamaineian Gardens. He's a Navy vet and a super nice guy. Love his Steve Lemme OG and crosses.I was working on the U-2 on the flightline at Beale waiting to move to Guam for a two year tour.
Chamorro. My Chamorro chicken and ribs makes the neighbors hungry when I grill it. I have a big Boonie pepper plant on the patio, the peppers are required for many of the dishes. Pacific Red Hot paste is made from them also. It's made on Saipan and sold online.Guamanian food is yummy!
You're in luck. I've been shopping cars getting ready to order. I highly recommend this:We got the call from The Mechanics today. They found a couple of problems.
Bottom line - she doesn't have a nice rack. To replace the rack as well as both pressure hoses and re-align the front end is going to run us .... oh my!! It's simply not worth it for a rusting out Hyundai with 250,000K on it.
- The pressure hose fittings are starting to show some rot so just replacing the hoses won't do it.
- They felt a slight "clunk" in the steering column which they believe could be wear from the pinion.
As of this morning, the Black Beast of Aaargh is officially no more.
Trust me it's been frifucking day all the motherfucking day. I drove to LA and back and I need THAT car, mother of god who are these idiotsNo, NOW it's Friday.
My Yamaha YZ 80 was a chick magnet. All the nurses at the ER thought so . Broken collar bone, femur and a handful of stitches, yup I was sure impressing them.I was jumping dirtbikes and trying to impress the ladies in '90
I lost a lot of skin impressing chick's tooMy Yamaha YZ 80 was a chick magnet. All the nurses at the ER thought so . Broken collar bone, femur and a handful of stitches, yup I was sure impressing them.
Yeah my left hip is a mess of road rash scars from my brief superbike love affair. Thankfully I realized I was going to meet the grim reaper in person if I kept the bike. Switched to cruisers later in life for the comfort. Oh yeah, to impress the women too lol.I lost a lot of skin impressing chick's too
Congrats on the new ride. May it give you many thousands of miles without funny noises.Early this afternoon, we said our goodbyes to The Black Beast. Out with the old, as it were. It now sits languishing among the other forgotten heaps in Languille's Scrap Metal yard. For all we know, it might have already been flattened and is on the back of a flatbed.
Then slightly later this afternoon, we said our hellos to The Scarlett Pumpernickel ( Looney Tunes fans anyone? )

In with the new.
Truly appreciate the recommendation Curious ... a fun ride but I can't haul a tree out of the forest with a Beemer. My kingdom for an SUV with the rear seats folded down.... You're in luck. I've been shopping cars getting ready to order. I highly recommend this ...
I'm glad you got something you're happy with. Back when I was heating with wood (11 cords a year) I had a 3/4 ton Suburban, different times/lives different needs I may have hauled a tree or two myself back in the day.Truly appreciate the recommendation Curious ... a fun ride but I can't haul a tree out of the forest with a Beemer. We have that same 2020 Rogue - Charcoal grey - and we love it. The 2.5L engine can do 140 KM/H all day.
