true, looking in to the HO datasheet numbers are looking inline with the regular EB3.I don't see how 2835 0.5w 3v D could be the HO. It's efficiency is better than the Gen 3, yet in the datasheets for these two products the HO is slightly less efficient.
What kind of aluminum is this and is it affordable?
What kind of alumimum is this and is it affordable? Where did you source it? I'm needing to build some heat sinks on the cheap. This what the final deal looks like. I got some 1/8" wire cable to hang them with. Dimming Control through the RJ12 port with my Trolmaster controller. I tried to put two ports in so I could daisy chain the telephone cable from light to light. But unfortunately the fitting is two wide and only one can fit in the enclosure at a time. So I either have to cut some plastic off them so they fit better or just use one. And find another smaller port that can sneak in beside.

I bought the extrusion from a sign shop. They are EX14 extrusions and EX12 extrusion. Used for making signs but they make great heatsinks. They were the cheapest thing I could find. About $15 for a 4" wide by 12ft long pieceWhat kind of alumimum is this and is it affordable? Where did you source it? I'm needing to build some heat sinks on the cheap.
