Mosaic on NW 36th and Western in OKC. $8-$14/g for flower and it is worth it. They are doing a great job.

I've gone into many oklahoma dispensaries and I mostly buy rosin or bho but have tried flower in a few. Anyways they always have the thc, and terp % marked on the jar these numbers cannot be right I have only been impressed 1 time. I bought inzane in the membrane flower from backroom organics on sw 59th and I 35 service road. They are closed now, anyways I heard some commercial growers talking in my local htg grow store and they were bragging on there new trimming machine which sprays co2 while trimming your buds making a lot of trichomes fall off, he said he rolls a few buds in the dry sift before sending it to be tested. This is unacceptable! On top of this I'm 90% sure it's all been harvested way to early. These people have filled our dispensaries with mediocre product. I think the testing laboratory should be held to a higher standard as well. They can see when trichomes are attached to the plant or not they know when people are on this bullshit but still pass the test. Ithink we need to have an expirament have dispensary products tested and compare the results to their advertised percentages. I guarantee they will not match. Here in the past year they introduced the metrc system idk what this means but, there are several places going out of buisness and I'm hearing this is why.
Oklahoma produces 64 times more marijuana than consumers need (koco.com)

It isn't just OK. It is everywhere. I went and bought some "Durban Poison" from a local dispensary. When I tried it at home I found it was neither DP and had been sprayed with I think something to bounce up the thc numbers. It tasted like soap, not lemony or anise taste at all. When I explained this to regional manager that they were selling stuff that wasn't what it was labeled I got that blank look. When I further explained that in the good old days people got shot for pulling this crap I got another glazed look.

yeah, dispensaries. What fun.

Dude... after a few years in the biz... I wouldn't smoke anybody else's weed but my own. I know what's in it. ...... or not in it. I've seen some crazy shit visiting other grow ops.

I've also noticed the soap taste. When I was switching my garden location I was dry for a few weeks. Me and the wife took multiple trips in every direction from home in upstate ny. Everywhere we went was garbage. One place on an indian reservation on long Island had a pretty good 500mg chocolate bar, I had to eat 2 and it wore off in just over an hour. Everything else only gave us a headache.

I bought some killer Gary Payton at Mango on NW Expressway, I think it was $100 an oz.

Not sure it could grown better IMHO but I'm nobodies expert on anything.
We've sold to Mango before... Hard to get a foot in the door there, but they are solid buyers. The owner even hit me up after I had shut down, but shit.... you just can't make any money in the legal business. Especially as a Craft producer. They just want to buy cheap weed. But, our system and law created it's own problem.

I wonder with 32x more growers than is needed if all the blackmarket flowers that are flooding the east coast are not coming from there instead of cali. It sells for so cheap once it gets there, I dont see how the excess number yall have wont thin out eventually. I am surprised there is not a market for the top end flowers there. There definitly is one on the east coast, part of it is knowing they are not smoking pesticides, pgr, and nowadays without fucking fentanyl on it.

They know they (the State of Oklahoma) created a monster. That's why they put a ban on new grower applicants for 2 years as of Aug of 2022. AND! on top of the no caps for licenses, canopy limits, or plant count... as a patient card holder, for $50 a year, you can have 6 flowering, and 6 vegging per person per household. A lot of people are growing (with 4 per household) 24 mature flowering, and 24 vegging and just doing perpetual grows and then selling it on the streets, with no inspections, reporting, METRC, taxes, fees, and all the bullshit that comes with a Commercial Grow Op.

I've never bought a bud from a dispensary. But, The people that grew with us the last few years have all said that our outdoor home grown bud was better than what they were buying. They keep buying "new strains" expecting something better. They still say what we grew is better.

The gal that grows with us gave me a pinch of Oreo, damn, knocked me on my butt. She said it was a quit a bit more potent than usual. Don't know why they keep buying stuff. They have all they can use of some good stuff.

True!.. we always wanted to be Craft producers... and still held that till the end. All of our friends that partake of our stuff stay it's way better than the Dispensary weed. Some of this shit IS going out the back door. Some dude on here said he got some of my product in Australia. Same strain I grew, same logo. I did sell 12-20 lbs at a time early on, so I can see how they would switch it out, and send some overseas. But, hey.. after it leaves my hands and is legally transferred... my hands are clean.

Yeah I remember you saying that you knew those folks.

There is always a problem though. we have too few growers and the premium price hasn't led to an abundance of premium product. I guess cause growers want to get it sold ASAP.

It's the bull shit regulations which favor players with deep pockets that really hurt the craft market.

All indica dominant hybrids! I've been experimenting growing sativa dominant and full sativa's along with other longer flowering varieties. I think this is a huge part of the problem nowadays. We have to accept that we don't know everything scientifically about this plant, the #s are meaningless a 14% THC pure oaxacan blew everything from the dispo out the water, what since does that make.
