Problems near harvest

Hi all , first time grower here, my plants leafs have started to curl down and get brown patches on leaves also got yellow tips on leaves , I think I'm close to harvest and although not got the fattest buds I'm happy with what I have got so far , should I just flush now as I plan to cut down after 2 weeks and Starr again , seems this problems have come after I used pk13/14 I'm using canna coco fertilizer , any help would be great

im using coco coir and only a 100wat cfl , i just got the cheapest setup i could, should i just use water for the few weeks and stop using the nutes ?

If you are in coco, never use just water. Feed them every time.

Flushing is not necessary. Feed your plants until harvest. You want them healthy to grow the flower. The Last few weeks is when they really plump up. I'm not sure exactly how much yours will plump up running with a CFL, but you want to give them all the help you can. That said, you can probably dial back the ec a bit but I'd keep feeding.

TCH said it best. Honestly u should upgrade your lighting before ur next grow. Good job tho for where u got considering ur process. I don’t mean offense by that either. Seriously good job and get a better light and your potential will quadruple.

thanks guys il just keep feeding then for a few more weeks , it was actually a 125 watt cfl but will defo upgrade once i have harvest this, will try Lst on my next grow and and actually check the ph of the water, am only using a 2x2 tent in my cubboard so am happy i can just grow my smoke instead of having to buy

You can get all kinds of little 100w led boards for $100 or less. Some of the generics are under $50. Keep an eye out in the great deals thread. @Marq1340 posts all the deals in there.

Coco as a medium and plants in coco need feed.
Plants do NOT need flushed.


If you decide to just water for the next 2 weeks, please document it very well.

Your lack of lighting is the biggest handicap- plants are showing some nitrogen excess ( clawing / shiny leaf ) .

Flowering is what it is unfortunately. Any way you can add more cfl ?

Many good advertisers here on RIU for ideas on lighting- @ViparSpectra / HLG quantum / etc.

If serious about growing good meds - lighting is very important.

Swap that light out next round, you will get way more and higher quality buds.

Don't bother with pk13/14 until your experienced enough to get the timing right because it can do more harm than good.

You can probably lower your overall nutrients.

Personally I'd flush it once to remove build up in the coco and then resume feeding at most 2/3rds of the recommended dose and make sure your PH is correct.

Cannot get much cheaper or easier than this with medium. Oh and don’t forget to add P.I.S.S
I had a few indoor runs that didn’t go so well. My watering habits are what ultimately screwed me. Now my ladies look great and not using any bottle nutes. These were clone so got from a buddy and they were originally in coco so not autos but ya get the point.
