I will here in a bit, I'm sure they are because they're only 2 gallon pots.. wonder if I'm gonna have to get bigger pots eventually..the 2nd one I planted is catching up to the first one, looks so healthy I'm hoping they all make it but the first one has pretty bad leaf miner damage on 4 fan leaves

absolutely bigger pots will help. I suggest the biggest pot you can afford. Trust me on this one, bigger pots will make a world of difference...

I suggest 15 gl as a minimum outdoors, 25's are even better. 2&3gl pots are for small plants indoors, outdoors they will require constant watering. With 15+ you can get by with maybe once a day. Best of luck

Amen to that. Yep, small pots will also restrict plant roots and stress them more, so bigger is better. Think carefully about where you’ll place those big boys as once placed and filled, you won’t be able to move them.

As far as Mother Nature, “rig something”…to quote Richard Dreyfuss saying to Robert Shaw in Jaws.
If a lot of rain is expected, rig something to keep rain outta the soil. If sun, dig a hole and secure a well-placed cheap umbrella or other sunshade. Burlap cloth makes a good & cheap sunshade. If wind, a piece of plywood held in place with some rebar driven into the ground, or a wheelbarrow with some shit in it. It’s surprising what your brain can come up with. But think safety first.

Noobie question: Isn’t a lot of the potency in weed coming from oils? Washing the weed = washing away bird poop, bugs, dirt, highest high?
