Yeah ... I could have taken better care of the originals. And I don't believe that I can use a USB drive or other equivalencies ... I'll have to check that.

Beautiful day today, except for the smoke is still at dangerous levels, and rain for the weekend, so not the best 4th forecast.
Thinking of a road trip to the city, but we shall see. In my younger days it was always a boating and camping weekend, rain or not!! Now a museum is more my speed.

I was a busy boy yesterday. Cleaned and disinfected my tent, soaking my next batch of seeds. I chose: Sour apple x mint jelly, Runtz fast, All gas og x gelato and Jungle cake x wedding tree. The runtz fast was a freebie the rest are 2 dollar seeds from NASC.
Made a trip to the dispensary, got my wife a vape cartridge and me a preroll of something called super boof, supposedly 31%. If so then my homegrown must be around 40%. I was not impressed, smoked the whole 1 gram cone at one sitting. My review would be meh.
Gotta love my SIP pots, here's a couple tomato plants that are fruiting in 100 degree plus heat. I do have to water them every day though. One of these is over a year old I started it in the tent back in Jan 2022. Looks ugly but covered with new tomatoes.

My neighbor that owns a pretty good sized farm puts on a huge fireworks show every Fourth. The cops don't seem to care what we do this far away from town as far as fireworks go. Hope you all have a safe and Happy Fourth.

Super Boof was a hot ticket clone last year. Had a pretty good reputation as a keeper. Dispensary bud was probably taken early and their lab test results are a joke as far as I've seen. Love the maters. Wish I had tried a SIP with mine. I'm bad at watering the outside plants.

An old friend stopped in last night. He was telling me in one sentence how they have been buying cheap weed at the sticker stores....as low as $50 an ounce.
Then in the next sentence he's telling me is is just recovering from a lung infection that he was on medication for a week from.
Hmmmmm...
I gave him the same warning I do all my other friends...That shit is mostly contaminated, and all the oil carts are counterfeit.
Gotta admit, I was fooled myself, or didn't want to believe it...Who doesn't love $12 gram carts? But they are dangerous counterfeits...Every last one of them. Complete with bogus lab reports in some cases. Hell, the real ones go for more than that wholesale! And if the weed was good, they could and would sell it to the legit dispensaries.
Pretty sure it went in one ear and out the other though....Everyone likes those $12 carts and $75 ounces. I have had friends pissed at me for saying something. I tell them don't believe me, research it.
I finally said no more buying the carts myself...I'll just make rosin and do dabs, and be safe(r).
Done rant!

My son gets me carts in DC and there's a few companies that do it right but a bunch of fakes out there too. Last time he came home to visit he brought live resin carts that were awesome. They're good for daytime puffing without getting so high I'm non functional. I wouldn't buy flower from any dispensary or delivery service just for the reasons you stated.
