Bump this thread back to the top. What beneficials are being used today? I'm about to have to restock and wonder what I don't know about.

i know the southern ag is something like a million times more concentrated than hydroguard
the mix rate was 1 scoop i think per 10 gallons? do they give a gram weight per 10? i'm kinda anal and measure out all my dry stuff. how much was the pound?
They say 1 tsp or 5.5 grams per 10 gal. on the packaging. But their feed chart recommends .20 of a gram per gal.the mix rate was 1 scoop i think per 10 gallons? do they give a gram weight per 10? i'm kinda anal and measure out all my dry stuff. how much was the pound?
check out kelp4less.com they have a few bennie mixes that i was interested in and they are pretty cheap too
I ran hydroguard before. I just didn't like the bottle spout and it was always needing to be rebought. I had good experiences with it thoBacillus amyloliquefaciens is the strain used in HydroGuard and GFF.
That product doesn't appear to have any.
GFF or DefGuard are the same species as Hydroguard but orders of magnitude more potent.I ran hydroguard before. I just didn't like the bottle spout and it was always needing to be rebought. I had good experiences with it tho
this is my second coco grow in a row that i've needed to stop the good bennies (both TPS Billions and Southern Ag GFF) and use pool shock. i had some issues that nothing seemed to fix except a good dose of chlorine. They say 1 tsp or 5.5 grams per 10 gal. on the packaging. But their feed chart recommends .20 of a gram per gal.
I use about .15 per gallon.
It was $70 I think
Not when you're treating 26,000 gallons every third day, even though I'm running a hypochlorous loop. I pay about $250/25lb bucket of 73%. I try to snag up a lot on salethis is my second coco grow in a row that i've needed to stop the good bennies (both TPS Billions and Southern Ag GFF) and use pool shock. i had some issues that nothing seemed to fix except a good dose of chlorine.
i guess the good thing is pool shock is cheap
You're using Southern ag in coco? Does that create more root growth in the coco?
