I get it, the vine borers are taking their toll and likewise down here on LI the powdery is just starting, and I've have my fill of zuc soup, both creamy and broth style, breaded slices, zucchini lasagna, zuc boats etc ...

I got mine for $200 for some reason. There's a price point for everyone.

You could spend 2 solid days or more trimming those trees of yours. Even my modest grows would take 4 or 5 hours of steady scissor work. I know you are a detail oriented artisan but there are much better things to do with my day than that when I can just pull all the fan leaves and batch process through R2D2 in a couple hours. Damn, maybe a batch processing business would be a good startup in Minnesota! Except you can't transport that much under the new law without a yet to be determined license scheme.

It's easier ime to hand trim when buds are green (not dry), but you don't have to. I imagine winters can be long in MN. Not sure what kind of crop I'll have but it'll likely get dried and stuck into a food grade barrel--not trimmed.

Actually if you traveled to the grows and processed there, no transport required.

I'm planting different stuff in its place for fall: choy sum, baby bok choy, and kraprow holy basil. I also am pulling up my Greek oregano and replacing it with an orange flavored oregano. I tore out my mojito mint, disposed of 99% of the plant and planted a 1" section of root with 4 leaves and its doing really well. I'm still waiting for my new seeds to get here, and at least ten more new tall bearded iris rhizomes. I planted the three that came already, the rest are probably gonna show up while I'm in Maine.

Coincidentally, my seeds came so I sowed those where I wanted them.

No more zucchini. This has a section for bok choy on the outside, holy basil in the middle, and choy sum closest to the bell peppers.
