Your peppers please!

Bishops Crown (baccatum). Little heat with a hint of sweet. Brazilian Starfish are better imo but these get larger. Luv them sliced thin in coleslaw.

If you like those check out aji champion and bolsa de dulce which I believe means basket of sweet.

they where a lovely pepper.

Fidalga roxa is another nice off the wall pepper. Beautiful purple pods that ripen through cream colors. Taste like zesty sprite. Also beautiful foliage1692164630443.jpeg

Awesome thank you. Ill be planting some next season or next indoor grow with the ladies.
I would suggest Brazilian Starfish also or instead of. They dont have much heat either and i like the flavor better.

Thanks Im always looking for light heat peppers. My favorite flavor is the habenero pepper, I just wish that it wasnt so hot so I could slice it up and put it in salads or sandwiches etc.

Just ran across this thread. Here’s some of yesterdays haul, got quite a few varieties growing this year. This pic is pepperocini, jalapeño, Serrano, arbol, Fresno, cayenne and habanero. These some pepperocini’s I canned the day before in the background.

Here’s some Anaheim, New Mexico, bell, pimento, pasilla and probably a couple others on the blackstone to get a char, then peeled and into freezer bags for later.

Aji Dulce are heatless habanero but none ive tried were as good as Habanada or NuMex Suave red. I use peppers like that all the time to tone down hot sauce but still have that hab funk flavor.

These crank out the pods and make a great almost heatless powder for seasoning.

And if you like habs, look at Freeport Orange Scotch Bonnets. Similar but more fruity and sweet. Quite hot though but not brutal.

Thats some awesome info there. Thank you so much. I cant wait to get my pepper in next year now. I may even throw a few in with my ladies next run.

Supposed to be a Purple UFO, but they didn't UFO too much. Lol. It does have a little alien hanging out though.

The KSLS looks more like the purple ufo (ETA: Just googled this pepper and it actually looks like this.)

SRP are excellent snacking peppers. Good heat but still reasonable with the occasional zinger.

HINT:...The ones that dont finish by years end can be pickled light green and they are quite good like that. I just add them to my pickled banana/wax peppers.

I tried one the other night and it very much reminded me of Hungarian wax peppers.

I grew Numex Gold a few years ago. Very mild and abundant. I think I have more seeds somewhere. My wife called them fauxbanero.

Watch for CARDI Scorpion seeds to pop up for sale. My favorite by far. Ive grown the Moruga too.

Death Spiral is another very neat looking pepper. Maybe ghost level hot but the peppers look much cooler.

The pheno from these were spot on and plant yield was HUGE.
