Hey team,
I have been using APTUS for approx 18 months now. I am switching to ATHENA as I am trying to improve the build-up in my reservoir (Res).
I understand that the largest factor in buildup in res is organic products from nuets. I use a system clean (Aptus) for each res top-up. I also clean res at least once a week.
I opted for the Pro line as it is in powder form and has individual packets in the box. The drawing attraction to Athena was the res situation and how I have heard that it runs clean (cleaner than organic nuets). Also, the simplicity of making up a stock solution, that you use in your res. I love this idea because with a multi-part nutrient, you always use the contents of each bottle at a different rate and therefore are forced to buy just one more bottle, it is kind of like a contract you are locked into.
My concern with switching to Athena from Aptus is that it is a 3-part (Grow, Bloom and Core), whereas APTUS has many more parts. I understand that this is because Aptus is a liquid. When reviewing the ingredients of Athena, the make-up is much different so my question is
p.s, I am growing in Coir.

Has anyone had sufficient experience with Athena, what other nuets do you use in conjunction, and what are your tips, tricks and results, please?
Thanks so much
