When doing it this way do you still have 10% runoff each feeding?i like feeding less amount (EC) and more frequency in coco bloom.
4x a day at 0.8 to 1EC
Thanks im going to try see how she respondsWith coco you’re going to see burning much faster so I would bump it to 1000 and just check for no problems. Go up little by little after 1000 till the tips are burning then you know
yep. always feed to min 10% runoff no matter if it's 1 or 10 feeds a day. When doing it this way do you still have 10% runoff each feeding?
Is it bad for the plants to have more runoff?yep. always feed to min 10% runoff no matter if it's 1 or 10 feeds a day.
I always have 10 to 20 % runoff. No I don't think soIs it bad for the plants to have more runoff?
as long as there are nutes in your solution (as opposed to plain water), i don't think so.Is it bad for the plants to have more runoff?
Can confirm. It’s actually good as it prevents salt buildup in your medium
Thats what i have done with my res, and put on my chart how many ml of ph down i need to add to the mix at the end to get it to the right ph i check that once after its sat for a bit before i feed then dont check anything untill next res mixI personally only check PPM and EC in the event of a problem I cannot otherwise solve. The genius of coco, you create your formula & you just repeat it, to runoff, and everything should run smoother and for longer than a Ford Taurus. There shouldn't be a need to constantly check it, unless you haven't perfected your mix. Hell, I don't even check my pH daily either again unless some problem pops up. I know that x ml of x products per gallon of my tap water is a specific PPM/EC and pH.
depends where your taking measurements from as going from the feed bottles will leave u with a very high ec... always best to start with a meter i would say then once u na whats what u can put the meters downIf you feed by volume (e.g ml/gal or grams/gal etc) then you won't need a meter or any fancy electronics, Just some pH Drops to keep your pH in the desired range based on whatever your growing in coco/soil/soilless etc..
