yep, i don't have the sun filter for it though....but in all honesty you don't need it, think i put in this thread a box you can make to watch it with out glasses, and NASA has made a set glasses just for viewing, and you can also just use a pieace of paper with a small hole and point it at the ground...js

The same here I have a small one with no filter I was going to do the box deal for the granddaughters

the filters are rather expensive, at least for mine, i have an old Celestron C10....that they don't make anymore....the filter for it is $200, little out of my budget.......

the box deal is easy, and even easier to make. I think NASA is gonna have a live stream of it too...js...

I think mine was 50 something from Wally World lol

you know some of those cheaper one are not bad tbh.......if you had a clamp of some kinda to go around the scope and with a clip, you could possibly clip a pieace of white card board to it, then you would be able to use it.....if you don't use the box, have you and your granddaughter make it together and then use it together....it will be great for both you and her

I delegated that job to my son and the look I got was priceless lol and the adoption goes through in November a long time coming but it is getting close now
