I accomplished exactly dick today. Spent hours digging holes in the yard where I thought I might find the water main - all for nothing. Either they buried that motherfucker really deep, or took some indirect route laying the pipe between the meter and the house. Fuck me, this sand ain't fun to dig through.

Call 811 and have them come out and mark where it is. I think they can find the water line along with the other utilities. They can tell you whether or not they can anyway.

Finished taking care of the soil, all the ammendments are in place. Cooking, a bit of alfalfa going before i chop it and mulch with straw. Fifth cycle for the small ones and third for the large fabric. This is the best time, the first few weeks are so exciting duuuude

Went out in the garage and the gardening twine I had the buds hanging from broke and they were laying on the piles of stuff out there. Replaced it with bailing wire it's not gonna break now...lol.

I had a shop I managed for 20 years, the owners came to me looking to get rid of a problem employee (knowing he smoked) and said "Can you pass a drug test? I told them no way so they dropped that idea like a hot rock.

Water main had a blockage, so the trench was where the new main was just installed. Plumber billed at $100/hour, so I saved a fuckton of money by doing the majority of the digging myself. Grand total still ended up being $1300.
